I built this when DeAgostini offered it. I have one built and another full issue set in a large plastic tub. It's a great build. Shapeways has a lot of Custom accurized parts for the ship. Great additions. I did mine with Shapeways interior parts at the time.

You're so lucky that you got stage 12. I have been waiting for months for it because Fanhome can't seem to do their job !!!!! I have suspended both of my subscriptions because I don't think I will ever get the missing stage for this one and the Delorean (Nov 2023).

What kind of oil do you use for your screws when you’re putting them into metal? Can it also be used for plastic gears?

I usena 3 in 1 oil. I would use grease of gears as oil will eventually dry up

WD40 will work, but under no circumstances do you want to use cooking oil. In time it will turn rancid. Not an odor you want on a model! 🖖😏
