I've been on here since 2010, but via this channel since 2013 and it's still hard for me to understand what I'm doing wrong despite steadily improving my editing and content value. For any fighting game creators out there, I have a literal template in my video editing software where all I have to do is trim a bit of my video and change the name of my opponent and edit the video to trim out the beginning of the video. My fighting game match videos are the easiest content I make on this channel and they get me views. I still edit, but it's such easy editing that I can pump out two videos a day without much hassle. I also have a template that I use for thumbnails this is very distinct and easy for me to change characters depending on what side of the screen I'm on during my match. My content looks easy and it is, but I've streamlined it to make it much easier to upload my matches.

Bought your book yesterday too! In this stream you mentioned that the video you just did with Pat Flynn doesn't have a huge amount of views. Although I've been bingeing your content (and I'm a fan of Pat's), when that video was recommended, I didn't click. I thought you might want to know why. The title was definitely intriguing, but I know Pat from SPI, so didn't recognize the name of his channel. The photo also doesn't look like him (with head thrown back like that). If I had known it was him, I would've clicked in a heartbeat. I just thought it was maybe some famous gamer, so decided I'd check it out later. Anyway, hope that unsolicited market research helps. 😬😊 Other SPI fans might be in the same boat, and I want you to get all the views you deserve. ❤️

I'm a professional writer who's been writing content for over a decade. Just write good content folks that brings people in with SEO for the search engines. It works. It's not as complex as this guy wants you to think but it does require strong writing skills.

People need to remember that the large content creators are NOT experts at everything. No one is. What large content creators do that you and I don't do a small creators, they turn their channel into a full-fledged business whereby they hire people to fill in the areas where they are weaker at. A common area is video editing as it is exceptionally time-consuming and can be technically difficult. Their focus is to hire people to fill in the areas they are weak at or don't wish to spend time on. So don't go whacking yourself over the head because you spend 15 hours a week on KZbin creation, and you're comparing yourself to mrbeast who has a team 😂😂😂

Only 250 people watched it in 1 hour. I believe nobody´s interested in it. Wich is ok, I guess. But how bad of a failure is it, when you make a flop video? I find it very discouraging. But how important is it? How should youtubers take it? Would you recommend, forgetting about it and just make the next video? Or does this really "drown" the channel?
