Those are some very impressive statistics. Flotation, size, cost. All very impressive. I would imagine a good number of builders will be motivated to start drawings or look to adapt ideas from tiny house builds. Inspiring.

Thinking that adding the pylons to a full shed might be more economical then building expensive plyons and a frame first...then adding the little home.

Nice! Do you manufacture the floats? If so, are the HDPE? We recently built a barge/narrow boat from HDPE, such a versatile and easy to use material.

How do I get about purchasing this unit and get it over in Québec, Canada ? And what would be price approximately with delivery.

It’s a bit to large to ship to Canada. I can sell you just the polyethylene floats and give you a drawing to get the frame welded up locally. Regards Brett. Where are you in Canada. I was born in Trenton Ontario. I live in Sunny Queensland now Australia 🇦🇺

@@MarineDockSystems now you gave me a price on floats. What about the floor deck. It seems to be 2x6 aluminum square tubes. My plan is building a 36’x12’ house boat. 8’ front deck and 4’ back with hard top deck. The built will be totally aluminum construction. Question?? With your experience, would 2 floats be adequate ? I’m planning to propel the boat with 2 Yamaha 50 hp Bigfoot.

Can’t I just buy blue 55 gal drums? And build a frame for them?
@MarineDockSystems Жыл бұрын
Yes you can. The advantages of these floats are that they are food grade, 8 to 10mm thick and can be bolted at the top so you don’t have straps around them. You can also get them through survey if you wanted to rent your boat out or do an Airbnb. Regards Brett

I am very interested in purchasing this product, but I am really concerned about the way to attach them, as each side of them is attached only by one screw, meaning that each one is connected by four screws. Is it possible to add four more, or to have additional cleats on the sides?
