Thank you for the review! The nature/elemental with the spiral designs caught my eye but the photos made it look like they were plastic. Happy to know it's all metal for the exterior. Going to Disney world next year, so gonna save up for my custom.

devilkicksanji2 Thank you for watching and commenting. I’m excited for you for your upcoming Disney World vacation. I am not sure how the process will work at Disney World or their timeline on executing things. I would say that if they are taking reservations on the date you go, make those reservations as soon as they become available. The only problem with the reservations is that you only get 4 hours to enjoy the land, BUT they have the system so well organized that the land is not super crowded. When they open the land to nonreservations, I’m thinking the land will be much more crowded and lines to rides, the Cantina and the workshop will be super long. Also, understand that the lightsabers are constructed of metal, but there are plastic/resin pieces used over the metal with some parts. The Rancor tooth, for example is a resin piece over a metal base.

@@offrouteexplorers9836 Me and my folks are going to a resort, so we'll see what that entails when it comes to reservations at the park. And understood on the sabers. I wasn't planning on the tooth bottom, but the fact the main exterior is made with a base of metal is reassuring nonetheless. Atm, I still like the spiral design elemental but the defense ones look sharp as well. Though I want a base that is cool but neutral enough to look good with any color...and the defense looks like it's very keen toward having a yellow or white saber color with all the gold and silver accents, but that's just me. XD

I'm going this month, taking whole family, so very excited! Not sure if I should go with reservation, or try to get in during the period of non-reservation? I just worry that we'll be standing in line all day to just GET IN to the area, you know? Nice video! Thanks

Yes, I totally agree. Thanks for the tip. The yellow and purple are difficult to really show the color in a lighted room. The camera's white balance also altered the color a bit.

iamLoKi The experience is located at Savi’s Workshop. You first need to have a cast member show you the lightsaber parts that are hidden in a drawer. At that point you need to decide what style of lightsaber you will make. You don’t have to decide on the parts, just the style. You then need to stand in line to pay for the experience. When you pay, you tell them the style of lightsaber you want to make and they give you a pin to wear to indicate the style. You then have to wait to enter the holding area. My wait was 20 minutes. Then you enter the holding area where you work with the “guardians” to play around with the lightsaber parts to help you better decide on what your custom lightsaber will look like. The time in the holding area was about 15 minutes. You then enter the workshop for 30 minutes. The whole process took about 1hr and 10 minutes.

Z-ManGaming 0707 The lightsabers include your choice of blue, green, red or purple. White and yellow are additional options sold at Dok Ondar’s Den of Antiquities. I also heard that a random black crystal can be found in the red capsules.

Looks awesome. Can I please ask how long the blade section of the sabre is when it's disconnected from the hilt? Hoping to come over to Disney World next year (from Australia) and I'm wondering how I'd get it back with me in my luggage.

The blades are approximately 32 inches (or 80 cm).

You can go to the front desk of your Disney hotel to have them ship items home. This can also be done at the cashier when buying an item, no clue how this will work with build a sabers. I also heard someone mention something about scanning items into a cart on the Disney parks app and once over fifty dollars they get free shipping. However if that setup works how I think it works, it won't work on the workshop sabers. So far have not heard of any complaints from people who had Disney ship home items.

Thanks for the tip. Doubt we’d get free shipping internationally but just knowing they can ship the items is good to know. I’ve seen on Disney Food Blog on Instagram that the TSA have said that light sabers are ok as carry on baggage as well.

Yes, the pieces are metal. They appear to be plastic because paint and resin overlays are used on the metal for some of the details like the woodgrain, but the structure of the parts are definitely metal. You may have seen the Rancor tooth option for the base. That particular one is metal capped with the resin tooth.

@@JayCambare thank you VERY much for these details. Some other youtuber who did elemental nature mentioned how some of the parts were not metal and was upset at the lack of consistency. I been really wanting more confirmation since that guy felt very unenthusiastic about star wars in general, so wasn't sure on how much he cared to be accurate.
