This was a lot of fun. I’ll be honest, I was surprised by how many folks at GCF know their stuff. Listening to them talk about the make up of the products, the chemistry inside each gallon. Fascinating!! It was also cool to have the chance to hang out with everyone. I left with my Chuck Pack, and the lawn is happy. The backyard anyway… the front is crispy.

I'm in southern Wisconsin, I planted Kentucky Blue on my new construction lawn about 3 years ago. The challenge I run into is my lawn is 3 acers and I really don't want to buy a new cars worth of products every year. What can I use to really spread the wealth on my size yard. Its half new grass and half natural area I mowed down to reclaim as manicured lawn. Thanks for any advice.
@NExtDIYLawn10 ай бұрын
You can go with a more spoon feeding route to spread the wealth. Go with less per application. You're lawn will still be fantastic!

In Massachusetts and looking forward to going all liquid and hopefully taking that next step in my lawn … just curious on how the average homeowner can know what to buy and when to apply (I.e is there an app or website etc that I can type address , map out square footage and know when to use such products ) just got a four gallon sprayer and looking forward to making an all liquid fert change but there are way too many products and it’s very overwhelming

@NExtDIYLawn Жыл бұрын
For acreage, you'll need a tow behind sprayer. On the label, there are mixing instructions for acreage.
@brodygoalie Жыл бұрын
So what is behind that these products are liquid vs granule? To me its much easier to spread granulated fertilizer vs spraying. With that said i do use ysrd mastery granule fertilizer. Flagship then double dark then stress blend. I do use NExt liquid to compliment ysrd mastery but i would be thrilled if your liquids were made in granule. Looking forward to hearing from you on this. Regards
@NExtDIYLawn Жыл бұрын
In general, you need less product with liquid to get similar results with granular. Also, liquid is more readily available to the plant. Granular needs to be broken down by the soil, before the plant to uptake.
@LawnNOrder3 жыл бұрын
I was so thankful when N-Ext products became available in Cali. I went through great extremes to keep it on my shelves during those dark days. You can’t go wrong with these products and they are more versatile than you know. They work well with all plant life on my property. 👊😎🌴

How come you do not talk about fungus control/ grass being stressed out in the summer due to high temps and humidity. What are you recommending for this situation? I use stress blend and or summer survival by JG. Can you avoid using fungus control if you apply your products. If so what is that scenario. Thanks
@NExtDIYLawn Жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, like most living organisms, you can never avoid disease. The best way to limit it is by proper fertilization, watering, and mowing. However, you can still get fungus. We don't talk about fungus control because we don't sell fungicides. We do make 0-0-25 GreeneKick, which is our Potassium rich stress blend

@RLogan-sl7xl3 жыл бұрын
This was my first year using all next products and followed LCN guide, don’t think I’ll do it again. It takes a good chunk of the day to spray 3-4 different products down on a 10,000 square foot lawn and if you mix them it will clog the sprayer constantly. Also my NPK levels were always low any time I did a soil test.
