Soo, I messed around with save files and it seems to be pre-determined which 3 you get at 51. I did reload several times and always the same three legendary choices (ones I don't want). I tried different fixed shards, I swapped archetypes, no difference at all. Always the legendary choice Speed Demon Power Fantasy Wrecking Ball Any idea how come? 😕

@@natteem5127 you have to restart it. once you start to level it the legendaries will be predetermined. This doesn't matter if you do not tinker with save scumming tho. ;) I hope the reroll mechanic will work well.

can you tell me why the fuck I feed a mythic fragment into the prism with a free slot remaining and it just disappears and won't slot INTO IT?! I leveled it already, had my first fusion, so I have another free slot which I wanted to feed the next fragment for the next fusion.

Okay, I'm making another comment here because I found a way for those who can't back up their save. Before you do any roles for the prism, create a new boss rush. Difficulty and type don't matter and then back out. This will create a new checkpoint and as long as you don't quit to the main menu, nothing will actually save when you're in ward 13. So if you aren't getting the fragments you want, close the application for the game and load back in. You will see the fragments from before but you can always upgrade something else till you get it. The only time the game will save is either when you quit to the main menu or when you find a new checkpoint. I don't think this works for the legendary but that might be changed in the future so who knows. I'm so close to getting all of my fusions done on this prism.

I heart when level prism up game will random fix stats for you that mean if you get stats that you don’t want you can’t reset it because the game system already fix random 3 stats when level up is it true?

@@hengzerzzerz7344 For the most part, yes. But if you have a bunch of levels for the prism, the first one is already decided but every other level after that will be different afterwards. So for example, let's you are trying to get your first fragments for the prism, get enough levels for all 5 first, force a save with the boss rush, feed the mythic fragments you want to increase your chances of getting it, then try for the roll. If even one of them isn't what you want, close the application for the game. Load back in and try again. This works by feeding the fragments after you get a bunch of levels because it will change the seed of each roll. The only exception to any of this is if you have 4 fusions and aiming for the last single fragment, it tends to not be random and is fixed but a way of getting around this is "saving" each time you get a fusion. That way, when something isn't going right, you quit and go back far enough where it will change. If you keep quitting after each single fragment roll it will barely change if at all.

They just need to make it so when you get a fusion it takes the average of the two stats and puts it towards the fusion, so say you had a +10 and a +6, the fusion would automatically be a +8. You would still lose overall levels on the prism due to the new empty slot, but at least you wouldn't go back to square one.

I don’t think they are going to change it. They were clear they wanted the end game to be a grind. Also, I can’t complain about the cost of fusion because it allows you to get FOUR additional stat bonuses. It should cost exp. Leveling 2 stats to 5 and then the fusion to 10, is 20 levels. Not to bad with the boss rush mode exp earning capabilities. I also can’t complain about the legendary being random. Let’s be real, we were all beating these bosses with 3 relic fragments. Now we have the ability to have 9 buffs in the prism + 3 fragments + a legendary. Again, I can’t complain. Our prism may not end up with the perfect legendary but it’s not like it will destroy a build. I’m pleased with the new system

Just a TIP you should, after you've gotten all the Fusion Fragment Effects to +5 aka Fire Rate, Reload Speed and Crit Dmg, Weakspot you should as soon as possible get singular ones to +10 to eliminate them being from the Pool to Drop and not Spread equally anymore

Just a reminder to be on apocolypse difficulty when buying fragments to maximize the chances of getting mythic fragments, otherwise you will waste a lot of relic dust.

My findings matches yours regarding seeds. Your current state including fed fragments is your static seed. Simply feeding another fragment changes the seed

@@gumed85 feeding fragments changes the seed that determines what three fragments will show up to _level up_ on the next level. Use this to try and guarantee that fifth fragment slot. Regarding the legendaries, the LAST fragment you level up at level 46 (might be 45) locks in the seed for the three legendaries that will appear at 51. Therefore you have 5 possible combinations of three legendaries, and that's it

remember you loose levels in fragments when you fuse them. Hence, i would recommend, once getting first 4 fusible fragments to level 5 or 6, then to also add to your 5th fragment. You need to get it to level 5 or 6 eventually to fuse anyway eventually. That way you get a prism around level 30, but with only 5 or 6 in each fragment and hopefully roll a fusion without having to take its fragment all the way up to level 9 or 10 only to lose those levels when it is fused. The prisim takes more experience the higher its levels so goal is to get fusions as early in total level and with as few levels lost as possible.

I have a very specific question. there is a legendary fragment called Traitor that maxes out Vigor, Stamina, Mod Gen and Skill Cooldown Trait cards... my question is should I take that legendary, but the prism has Health/Stanima % bonus for the hulk fusions... do those stack or is hold wasted because I "maxed out" those traits? Im going for a prism with the Hulk, Tank, Revitalize, and meta with the dangle stat being ranged damage. imma double stack the ranged 10% from meta and the regular fragment slot... and double the weak spot fragment too.

@TheAmazingARD before you level up, make sure to use liquid escape to trigger the save. Once the game saves, go intonthe save game folder (c drive - saved games - remnant 2). Copy and paste what's in there, into a seperate folder. To reload your backup save, close the game, copy and paste what's in the backup folder into the main folder, then launch the game. If you are on console, you will have to Google how to backup because I have no idea lol

Very well explained, one question though: how do you have your prism at level 0, but with all the levels stored in it? I reset my prism to do this strategy, but lost all my exp progress in it. i understand that you can overfill the exp of the prism, but is there a way to reset the prism and keep the levels? or did you grind it out for the video? if so, ggs that must've taken a while

Backup your saves _before_ you initially feed your prism. I put all ranged fragments in and on my first level was presented with all melee options for some reason. I reloaded and got the exact same results, so I tried a third time but switched up 5th fragment and finally got what I was looking for. It makes me think the options are procedurally generated rather than random.

As an update: Took many hours but I got jack of all trades on both my status dmg and ranged dmg prisms. Stopping there til they let us reroll the legendary trait cause I'm tired. I'll get the 75% ranged dmg when they do that so I don't have to risk the rest of the prism.

Didn’t pop up so I went to my back up added two with it and every time it’s not there. Tried about 15 times. I've heard horror stories of players sacrificing mythic fragments and not having them show up, and since I can't save scum I've just not bothered paying the system too much attention. The fusion list also came out after I had already chosen my prisms and it turns out there are no possible fusions, despite clear synergies between health and armor and ranged and weakspot damage.

How did you get your prims the ability to continually level that quickly in one go? or were you just stitching together every time you leveled the prim up in between actual playing of the game?

Man the farming of relic dust & exp for the prism in console its ridiculous. I do 19 boss on survivor in 1 hour to only get like around 700 relic dust & only level up the prism like 3-4 times & it gets boring after 2 runs. Still this vid helps a lot to not waste those level, thanks. And no... Im not a pro player & F the final boss of the 3rd dlc cause to me thats the hardest boss of all.

Max your archtypes first to help get mythics before starting this. Save all relic dust it makes it a huge time and stress saver.

@Liquidswordz56 nah this def ain't meta. It was just when I was experimenting in the beginning. For a generalist ranged prism for hugs I'd do: meta, gunfighter, sniper or munitions and longevity. Single frag will be either ranged crit / ranged damage depending on if you take sniper or munitions

Is there a way to change the random roll on Prism? I loaded my save game several times but the output is always the same combination….yellow/red/yellow but I need a blu (resistance bonus) for hulk…trying to feed with different fragments only change the type of fragments but always yellow/red/yellow . @klucimameluci8652 you must of clicked on it before feeding a fragment by mistake. Its too late to fix it unless you have a backup save. If you don't, you will need to cleanse it and start over, if you don't like the choices it gave you.

I’ve played many hours but still not clear on the old system or the new. How come I don’t have a mythic fire rate? I go to Dwell on apocalypse and take the upgrades as far as I can get. +5 relic dust over and over. Went through 600 total relic dust. I only have 4 mythic reds fragments I believe. My other question is what are the 3 slots for on the prism? You never touched them. What are these spaces for? Thanks for any help

Mythics drop on apoc difficulty when you have at least 8 archetypes at max level. It's rng tho dude so keep trying to get Mythics. I used crit chance, crit damage and fire rate foe the plasma cutter

Tried to backup my prism for the important rolls, and it seems it has preset RNG rolls already assigned to it. For example, got a roll for weapon spread, head reduction and movement speed. Reverted to a a save post inserting a fragment but pre leveling it up, and it resulted in the same rolls. Reverted to a save pre inserting a fragment, still results in the same thing. TL:DR, this system is so not worth the trouble lol.

@Jo-Heike just go into the save folder. Should be C drive saved games. Make a seperate folder for your back up, then just copy and paste the original save into your backup folder. If you need to re load your backup, copy and paste from your backup folder intonthe main folder.

@yhr1693 if you have a network account (like psn) just make backup saves manual. Then backup to network. Do what you need to in game and if it fails, just close the game, go to your network save and download and restart the game. When you succeed, make sure you go to network and make a manual save point. Repeat as necessary 🍻

I just had the weirdest bug backing up and restoring my save files (I'm on Xbox app PC) my main 200+ hours character reverted to a post tutorial state but all my stuff and NPCs are still the same I have all my gear prisms and mats. I can replay all 3 DLCs as one shots. Only thing that's missing is the Thaen Tree in base

@@spiritravelermdk8508 I cheated and summoned in a bunch of trait books for xp so I can do this video. No, not all frags can be fused. I pinned the wiki so you can see what can be fused. Feeding mythic is recommended as it gives the highest chance that, that specific fragment shows up
