They should have revealed all the fusions for fragments at the start, or an in game explanation. Cuz now you got a bunch of people with fucked up prisms that theyll need to level and restart it just cuz they had no idea what they were doing at the start.

Feeding a relic into prism increases the odds of it being in your selection when leveling prism, but it’s not guaranteed. You could feed a mythic crit damage fragment and not get it to roll in prism at all. It’s rng. You could feed your mythic and it could be fed for nothing. Now you got to farm for a crit damage fragment and once again level it to mythic or keep feeding it to prism and just deal with not having a mythic crit damage fragment for your builds anymore.

They aren’t a removed if you don’t sacrifice them. Original fragments are still in the game. You can combine the effects of both. But once you’ve maxed out the fragments you sacrifice them to upgrade you prism stats. Then you just grind the frags over again if you want and truly if I were anyone else I’d just collect the prism shards from the boss rush and save your fragments. I ain’t got time for that but I’ve got time to fight bosses. Plus you get corrupted shards/lumenite and the boss weapon drops in boss rush. Happy grinding ✌️

Originally I was super excited for this aspect however now this is a really terrible decision on their part first of all I have every single fragment at Mythic level do you know how long that took there's no way I'm going to give those up I'm just not going to use that system and the fact that you lose 14 of them that's unacceptable especially if you've loved them up to Mythic that is a lot of Relic dust I am now no longer excited for this update at all this one fact literally just killed the game for me

People saying it's optional. But if the devs have scaled enemy difficulty based on players having strong prisms, then you'll be at at big disadvantage if you don't grind a strong prism. Atm it feels like Destiny levels of forced grind

Yes. The more of the same prism you feed the more likely it will be in the roll. Consuming the fragment

That copy of it, yes, but then you're missing a fragment and any time the game would drop a fragment it sees that and weights the drop to be more likely to fill in that space.

You feed your mythic and risk a chance of it never rolling on prism. If it does it’ll be a low percentage until you level it up. In the mean time you’ll have to farm for the fed relic again and level it back up to mythic. Crazy grind. I won’t be sacrificing my mythics.

@@atacstringer8573 I mean, the boss rush mode makes it easier to farm for fragments, especially since it has a focus on giving you fragments you don't currently have maxed out (meaning if you're not just dumping all of your fragments at once, you'll be able to farm back up a single fragment pretty quickly)

I cant find a single source that explains what the difference between the other prisms are. What is the motivation to spend 1000 relic dust for lethargy prism or go on a journey for jealousy prism? What will i gain if i go through the trouble of buying and or finding these other prisms in the game? Literally nobody has explained this not even the remnant 2 wiki.

I don't play Diablo because its all about grinding endlessly not enjoying the game. I despise these choices in general. R1 I have more time in it than any other three games and the grind stops, because I like the game so much, and From Hell, which is just a fan expansion basically, alters the game so much, and survival is awesome. I don't play games to grind. I grind some here and there for some things but this just seems like garbo.

I love this game , but I wanna ask ,”Do the dev play this game with randoms ?”, because I do . They barely understand the game as is and they just add an encyclopedia of confusing content . This sounds fun to a veteran player but will push new players away . The Warfrane / destiny affect. I wish they tweaked the trait system over relic system . Add 10 more points and make the grind a lil slow . Player shouldn’t have to go to KZbin to understand a game . I love this game but I don’t see casuals understanding this . Thanks for the video .

You can’t have up to 35 more trait points via the prism system. It’s not that complicated from what I see. You pick a random buff is basically what it is and it’s randomized no more complicated than the relic system we had previously. May look daunting at first but it sounds pretty straight forward l.

Were the leveling is simple and the difficulty is in game play . I just want the game to thrive because I love it .

@AaronStorey-d3h we have been trying,the new system,while good in concept,is way to grindy,it isn't worth trying to make a perfect roll until they rework it because it will easily take tens of thousands of your dust if you even have that much,hours if not days of playing to max it out all for a chance that maybe MAYBE you will get the one legendary you need out of like 40 something,who in their right mind would say that is balanced,here is a small thought mate,if you are literally the only person in the community not annoyed by this and every single other person thinks it's too much of a grind maybe you are the one that is wrong and not everyone else who "didn't even try it" even though most of us have been since the updates launch

Prisms are everything, they are a pain to grind, your build will suffer if you don't understand. That's the TLDR thank you for watching

It’s simple, bro. The three fragments at the top are the fragments you slotted in from your inventory of fragments like you’ve always done with your heart relics. That’s a no brainer. Now the prism bonuses are rng. You can feed a mythic fragment to it but it’s no guarantee it’ll be an option to select. That’s a risk you’ll have to take if you want a chance at a perfect prism. You’ll just have to farm that mythic fragment again to place back in your build. If you don’t want to risk it just choose the best option when upgrading your prism and hope the rng gods smile on you. Hopefully at least two or three of the five bonuses will benefit most of your builds.

I did understand all of it but some things are unclear and till we understand all of it and with that big of a grind it is hell Im not a fan of this They nerfed crit and skill base weapons and made the dlc passive damage much stronger And now this Later on it will get for sure nerfed just like after every dlc They need to stop this cliche I wasted thousands of relic dust at dwell until a friend of mine said buy it at apocalypse difficulty which helped a lot And they don't mention that in game nor in this article. That blows my mind. You have to grind that much to get what you want and multiple times to amp your builds with the prisms. Why not do it just like in remnant1 where you get all traits max Simple, effective and balanced kind of. The prism is so op especially from what they showed us. All damage 45% wtf. Think of going for weakspot damage relics with mixed ranged and legendary bonus weakspot or all damage buff and picking deceit. You get all bosses at easy mode. Hell yeah thx for the grind all worth it (sarcasm)🤔

The prism system is an extension on the base game. You don’t need any DLCs to get it. DLC 3 is new archetype, armor, N’Erud area, weapons, rings, amulets, mutators and mods. Don’t let prism system spoil your new DLC fun.

They are not going to GIVE you the NEW fragments just because they took out 14 fragments out of the game. They took 14 out and added 20, idk why you think they will just have your old fragments replaced with new ones. That's definitely not how that's going to work. I explained it correctly. Dunno, from what I see and understand there’s a bit to it that isn’t an exact science. For instance there’s no guarantees when it comes to choices of stat boosts. So for instance let’s say you enjoy running I dunno a hunter build. Now with this you can truly proc into a handful of classes and have the crazy buffs you would have gotten before from rings and fragments but now it’s all in prisms. Making it not break the game but actually make you finally make a choice of “play style” or styles. Then there could be the challenger ect any type of base build type to build around any combo of archetype. With boss rush having theee new modes that will be the “new difficulty” mode. As you get rewarded with corrupted shards, the boss items dropped for weapons and upgrading them if you haven’t to +5. Now me playing this game on every difficulty so far I don’t see there being an obvious power creep. And if you even wanna solo apoc and try out nightmare you need everything in the game anyways especially solo. I still get one shot or even if I don’t then with my buffs to relics or shields it’s all for naught when it comes to dps thus starts the endless cycle unless you just get good. And learn all the archetypes and choose. Then just make other characters and only aim for what you know is out there to have another character you can proc into summon builds then one into mage style mod and skill builds and last a tanks boi. Any type ya want. So it’ll make it easier if you play the game a good amount. I know there’s builds to one shot some apocalypse bosses but even then that’s a lot of buffs and certain things you need in the first place to beat em. I really dunno what to expect. I think my build will shine now due to this new element. I actually think there will be a new skill cap similar to remnant 1. Maybe in the 90s or even 105 I could see as a new cap. In the end I’m excited to see what happens man
