This video was a double bonus: page tabs that are practical and beautiful and your stories that touch the lives of so many people. I have enjoyed your stories and commentary for over two years. Thank you for making these videos. Do you sleep? LOL
@denisehampton31029 ай бұрын
So when you worked the snack bar, you got a whole 3 hrs. Sleep? Baah! Staying up junk Journaling & watching your videos & only getting 3 hours of sleep. Now that's a party!🎉😊. How many people you have around is just what you are used to. Some people never have alone time or time for themselves. Just to relax their mind & body. Besides, now you have thousands of friends! We all love you. I'm sure sometimes more communication than you would want( having to read thousands of comments). You definitely have enriched my life! I want to try everything you do. I love your spark of genius, i.e., a fish held in by a magnet 12/22. That is the spark that the Leonard's of the world have. Some would say, " Your journals are no Sistine chapel." To that, I say, "You haven't seen her Tim Holtz Studio Journal then!" 😂❤🥲🥹 I understand your aversion to 'mass makes' it feels like 'mass produced' like a machine does it. But your tags are not that. Thanks for explaining what you are thinking along the way. Like the round stamp going off the edge to tie it to a page. Okay, that's enough, monolog. We love you & are happy for you. There is a lot to be said about just being content with your life. Living our todays & not chasing the world. It's a good place to be.😉😍

@@denisehampton3102 I agree with everything you said in your comment. I retired almost a year ago and I hardly leave my house because I’m crafting or painting and I’m very content. My husband sees what I’m doing in my craft room and comments how cool it is.

It's serendipity Louise. When things like that (the snippet strips) happen. It means that your intuition is strong but more importantly it means that you are following your intuition thus making it stronger. It works just like a muscle. Every time you listen to and follow your intuition, it gets stronger. When those "snippet" moments of serendipity happen, it means to keep going. To keep listening to and following your intuition. 💪🏻

I just love these! Love how you came up with using the envelope punch board to make them, very creative idea and using tools in a new way is cool. I like how they’re very busy, but they’re so small that it doesn’t matter they’re busy, they add a little pop of interest to a page. I kind of cringe with mass making too, but don’t really know why. Part of it is probably from my days of doing craft shows, when I had to make many multiples of things to sell; that sucks the fun out of creating quickly! 😂

I enjoy crafting at home. I haven't gotten into journaling/junk journaling until recently so I'm pretty much a 'newbie'. As far as friends go, I have many I have conversations with (via text more than phone or personal) and many through where I used to work. However, I'm not a party person and don't drink alcohol a lot, so that limits my 'out-going' with many friends. I really enjoy your videos, Luise - you're very inspiring and creative. I truly and sincerely enjoy listing to you too, personally and creatively. Thank you for sharing pieces of yourself with us.

🌻🌻🌻Luise, these are wonderful! I so agree with you about "no love" in many of the mass-making videos I've watched. But your page tabs are oozing love, LOL!! And I totally agree about loving a quiet life. For years I allowed coworkers to talk me into going to parties and other activities that most people love. I am an introvert/empath and that stuff was always just overwhelming to me. Like an previous commenter, I'm finally at the age where I do what makes ME happy. Being at home, crafting, sewing, keeping up with my precious family via phone calls and texts (they all live far from me), hiking with my dog, texting with friends...all of that makes me happy, so that's what I do! 🌻🌻🌻

18:00-ish I just had to pause. Luise, I feel the exact same way about the term, "mass making". It's like you're a machine, or robot, just pumping out pieces...with no love or emotion involved.💔 Plus, I tend to get bored easily. I always need a challenge, stimulation/inspiration, to best create. Aaaand...I struggle to NOT be so "perfect" on each piece.🙄lol But, I think, if we keep in mind how beautiful the embellishments will be once added to the "big picture" it helps.🤩💗
