Luise, "in my eyes" is a totally normal English-language idiom. Who on earth told you otherwise? You don't need to apologize for it. (Signed, an American friend)

Just want to say this: I am so grateful that you take the time to make videos in English. I know you don’t have to. I started watching your channel about a year ago and have never had an issue with your English. I enjoy your way of thinking/talking/teaching, your persistence and humor in all you do. There is an artist I used to follow because I admired her work, but she stopped making her videos in English and my enjoyment diminished so much , that I finally unsubscribed. So, I appreciate your efforts in trying to better your English, if it’s for your own fulfillment, but, “in my eyes”, and to my ears, there is no need. I appreciate you as you are.

Your English is perfect. Please do not let people ʻcorrectʻ you. Remember, the English spoken in Great Britain has many variations - and that area is small. The United States is vast and English varies from coast to coast and north to south. Now, think about Australia and New Zealand, sometimes those wonderful people seem to speak a different language. Pronunciation and word usage are variable, but we understand each other and the nicest among us do not correct others. Your slight accent and delightful voice add so much charm to your videos. Please do not let those who wish to correct you spoil who you are, you are a great teacher who is fluent in two languages, at least. Most Americans speak only English, so you have a great advantage.

Don’t worry about your English. It is great! We are such a diverse and multicultural country here with languages and idioms from all over the world. Plus just differences in speech that are regional almost a language unto themselves. Then of course the multiple Native American languages we have here. So, you should not worry. Your accent and way of speaking the English language are very very welcome with open arms and a big hug. There are many Americans who do not speak English at all sadly. So, you are perfect Doing great!

Luise, I got so many fabulous ideas from you working in this fantastic booklet folio. I can’t hardly wait for all the ideology goodies to arrive tomorrow! I’m so excited to play with mine and see how it all comes together. I’m hoping some fabric in my stash will work with the tissues I’ve collected. I love Tim’s fabric but I haven’t ordered any yet, so I’ll work with what I have and not pitch a fit. Figure, I could even stamp on the fabric to give it more interest or texture. Thanks for going through this piece in such detail. I do like the punch of color within the neutral pages. I’ll have to try my hand with making a glue gun seal and adding an image and color. Yours is marvelous. Thanks, Luise.

Most of us if not all enjoy the way that you talk and enjoy your videos. Love that you are wanting to learn more as I would if I were learning German, but you do a great job and it is obvious that you are always improving yourself. BRAVO LUISE! From my point of view, you are giving it your best shot to improve your English. I enjoy helping you because I know you want to learn.I am happy to help. Lots of confetti all around you! One thing you might try is to make a list of phrases you want to try to adopt on a yellow sticky (or have one phrase/word per sticky) and put it on the wall where you will see it each day. It could be a new word, or a figure of speech, Since we are visual people, seeing it on the wall can help to register in memory. When you feel you have integrated it into your own voice, then you can take it down from the wall and maybe make a Learning English Junk Journal??? Propositions are hard in English, so be forgiving of yourself on that account. You are doing great! Keep going! Chüse! ❤

Also, I see a lot of people don't mind if you say "from my eyes". It's not incorrect, but native English speakers don't use this phrase, so really Luise, it's up to you how you wish to express yourself. It's always your choice. If you wish to speak better English, from my point of view, it's better to use the vernacular of native speakers. From their eyes, they don't think so.

"It is MUCH EASIER to ship to Germany than it is to ship to Austria" however it is more PARSIMONIOUS to say, "It is easier to ship to Germany than it is to ship to Austria" In this case, you are communicating the same idea with less words, if that matters to you. 😊 Just more choices for you!

I'd say that the progression from muted colors in one spread to brighter colors in the next spreads work well, it gives a sense of transition and a journey full of surprises. The glitter is a nice addition. The turquoise of the flower to the right (that you colored with water color pencils) functions to point the eye back in a circle to the left of the page and to travel around a few times before moving to the next spread. It's very nice. It sounds like you were HESITANT to use the watercolor pencils, but you OVERCAME your fear to use them! Please use them more! I really like the way you cut off the corner and then used the same triangle as a tuck spot on the next spread! Brilliant move.

I would love to see the tutorial that you mention for one of the pages in your book. Also, what is the name of the fabric that you use under the tissue paper?

Have you considered having a Patreon account? There are many of us who would gladly subscribe. I can imagine you are already very busy producing content. However, I am certain it would be successful.

That's very sweet!! I have thought about that but the additional content I would have to make is not doable for me at the moment. But I truly appreciate your thoughts and support!
