The cone filters remind me of Japanese fans you could really dress those up and make them look so nice in a journal

So interesting to see how you do these. I have a bunch of those coffee filters from an old coffee pot and I also have the Pendaflex hanging folder, so now I just have to get busy and make some!!!😊😊 Thanks for sharing your amazing creative talent.

Ok... I need to go get a pad and paper and come back to rewatch and take notes! I've been on the fence about whether I wanna have a crack at art journaling, and now I definitely want to try it!

You got me excited, so I pulled out the used filter from today's coffee and I make one. Not thrilled with the outcome, but I'm going to lighten it further and add some stamping. This is fun!

Sometimes it's a matter of adding another layer...lightening it with adding white...splattering, stenciling etc......when you glue them down they tend to brighten. K

Great tips as always Karen -- I have always let the wetted filters dry before painting them but your way seems much better!

What an awesome video Question, what brand and type of coffee filters do you use? Second, have you done a video showing how you made your own stamps? Thanks

I buy coffee filters at dollar store...or whereever I get a good deal...usually store brand/generic. K
