I’ve been using Dr.Earth dry amendments for years until I discovered this. Game changer for me! I love the company through and through. They are hands down the best company and product that I have ever done research on and/or used. Craft blend has simplified my organic grow so much and I can’t say how much I appreciate them. I’m a disabled Marine Veteran and I needed a company like this in my life. Cheap and easy to use and they are extremely transparent which sets my mind at ease. There absolutely zero reasons to go with another company when it comes to any type of amendments. They offer every bit of education on all there products which is also a game changer. You can use it with most soil types. I use peat moss, Pumice, compost, and earthworm castings as my base. There are so many working possibilities so it's a tough question to answer. Main thing to keep in mind is it's going to take a while to break down but there are definitely ways to speed things up. The beauty or organic is it's very flexible. I'd be happy to help more if you need

@@brianeastlick7293 How much craft blend do you typically mix per gallon and how much and how often do you top dress with it?
@brianeastlick7293 Жыл бұрын
@@jhonwayne1003 I am sorry I did not see this
@brianeastlick7293 Жыл бұрын
@@hussstler786 How much kind of depends I guess on how exactly I am making my soil. I use roughly 80 gallon wooden boxes. and if its a new batch I usually have some good compost and that situation tends to change. To keep it simple I would say I use 2-4 cups when I first set up an 80 gallon box then top dress 1/2 cup- 1 cup per plant ever 5-7 weeks. But like always there are variables. Genetics can really change things so over time you will kind of get to know different genetics and they don't always want the same. Craft blend is very forgiving though so don't over think it. Last thing I would say is MICROBES! Healthy biology in your soil will really help you take advantage of the craft blend. My philosophy is just get what I know they generally want in the soil then take care of the biology in the soil so it can take care of my plants. (Mycorrhizae, beneficial bacteria) A good saponin helps with moisture control and cover crop is great.

Another great video and I say that as a Craft Blend fan. I've used it in most of the ways you mentioned. Question for your next FAQ. I've had three runs in an EarthBox. Upon harvest I'm going to start a second EarthBox with new soil and recycle the old soil. Does it make sense to "inoculate" the new soil with some of the old soil. The old has lots of worms and worm castings. But I'm really interested in trying to preserve any nematodes that I added before I had my IPM plan in place. What do you think? Does this make sense. It seems like you are in a similar situation when you change EarthBoxes for the next 10x10 run.

So i have a few 4x4 beds. That would mean in order to reamend the beds id dump over a bucket into each 4x4 bed? That cant be right that seems like so much... Aye Jeremy dude. I'm not saying you need to like Blood, Bones, and feathers, but they're a part of nature and our food industries and if they aren't used somewhere... well then what do we do with it all? I've had blood, bone, and feather included in my garden recipes for years and haven't ever felt like I've created any toxicity issues or brought over any residual agriculture products from using those waste products. Fish make a good bone meal too, don't get me wrong. I'm just saying, there's no reason to not make lemonade from the lemons big agriculture throws at us.
