We are getting close to completing the structural buildup of the monocoque tub and a few surfaces are getting their final and finish lamination. In this video, after a short hiatus from fiberglass lamination videos, we are back with a catch up, to show you several different aspects of how we build the tub of the Arete supercar.

I love watching this build and always look forward to seeing the latest progress. As far as interior, I think you should finish it to look like it a factory production car with carpet, carbon fiber accents, leather wrapped seats, steering wheel and dash pad, etc. Whatever you decide, I’m super excited to go on that maiden voyage with you (virtually of course).

It deserves a thin exotic orange leather stretched over a thin layer of foam over the tunnel and sills flanged onto the floor with a simple overlocked carpet dropped in either side. Thankyou for your content.

Forcing myself to get something out every Thursday was causing me to put out some crappy content. Just posting as I go and something interesting gets completed. Again, Thanks for watching!

I appreciate you your videos and I can only say thank you so much. Paint if your going to use as a track car and race it. Upholster for general use with the occasional track day. As you know, upholstering allows for the addition of sound deadening and insulating materials. Hearing your fine note of the engine noise will not be a problem as you can make allowances for this but road noise can be very tiring on any length of journey. upholstery with added insulating materials will also aid in maintaining a comfortable climate in the cockpit. You can still add painted or say carbon fibre treatments to selected areas of trim for aesthetic reasons. Nevertheless, I have no doubt whichever route you decide on, the result will be fabulous. Good luck and thanks for taking the time to share your journey.
