Looks like an earth roamer on steroids coming to life. Should be nice to get away and enjoy remote locations. Keep up the awesome builds. Very inspiring,

Robot slave working in the background has a squeaky belt! Some think I should be shooting on a sound stage with a full crew to edit that stuff out. Ha!

Don't let my comment hurt your feelings; but I like this machine's design. I don't know why, but it reminds me of something from the 60's or 70's, a sci-fi roamer vehicle...
@BuilderCreator2 жыл бұрын
Well, that certainly doesn't hurt my feelings! I love SciFi and I'm from the 60s. Ha! It does follow those early SciFi lines and more closely David Levy's (concept artist) design from the movie Prometheus. I think his design is highly influenced by vehicles like the Arc, from the TV series of the same name, or the Landmaster from Damnation Alley movie. For fun, look up the Colani Sea Ranger. interesting amphibious vehicle from the same era, or the Dobbertin Surface Orbiter . . . you thought I took on big projects!

Hey, how are things on the far side of the globe?

@@BuilderCreator heeeey, long time.... So things have been quite interesting, remember I asked for suggestions regarding FRPs for our Ground Rover, well we did it and it turned out amazing... the finish was flawless (although got some pin holes so had to fill them with body filler) plus it parted from the mold like butter, so that came out very well. So with that rover we were suppose to come to USA for a competition held in Oakland university, Michigan but we were not able to get our VISA on time so that plan got pushed to next year. Apart from that I completed my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and now heading to Germany for my Masters (will be moving by next month). So things have been going very nicely, I have been watching all your videos and just enjoying the journey, saw what you did for the Arete seats, I had just one concern won't it become a bit uncomfortable after long drive without any cushioning..😅😅. tbh, I'm just waiting for Arete to move under its own power, it's going to be surreal, I was genuinely surprised to see so much progress on the leviathan project it is looking like beast, its very well made. what about you sir, how are things going there?

In Europe, we have more compact and light air conditioning systems, running 12/24 AC on motorhomes and boats, the standards on rolling weight and gauge are stricter in Europe, you will surely be able to find other interesting things to mount ... ^^

Are there any specific considerations that you have made about the expansion of aluminum? Will your engine be able to vent out heat without making your feet/cab too hot?

That generator puts out pretty dirty power and can damage sensitive electronics; check the THD on the specs. If you're going to power any electronics with that you should probably run them through something to clean the power up a bit like a line conditioning UPS

There will be a full solar, battery and electronic management system. Sometime, I might plug it directly into my homes septic system on a power outage, but that's pretty dirty as well, Ha!
