Attempt #3 at building this 4 Runner. It has been tough but I am happy with the results of this one and I know that it will work this time!!! Contact: wafflesrc2023@gmail.com @wafflesrccrawlers on Instagram and TikTok

Well you make the best out of what you have. I save all my old parts screws parts whatever & after awhile you have a crap load of extra parts this stuff is like gold I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to dig threw old parts to save my A$$. As long as you enjoy what your doing it doesn’t matter what others think you either like it or not. Keep building & most of all have fun & don’t take yourself to seriously it’s just RC. 👍

Don't worry about viewership drop. Most large channels have it too right now, it's spring heading for summer and I think people are travelling, finishing school, being outside more etc... I think you should stick to what you want to do. We have the privilege of watching your hobby time, so don't adjust your hobby time to get a few extra people watching. I know you're all about custom, but maybe take a look at a traxxas slash front end for how they do steering on ifs. I'll keep watching whatever you're working on.

Homebrew IFS is something almost nobody attempts, so big respect for even trying. It seems like you got really close with the second version!

From personal experience, this is truth! Especially when it comes to 4wd. My TRX4M kit has been months and months in the making.

The new Rc is looking good, don't let them bother you they don't know what they're missing, I run 104 mm shocks on my rig with 2.2's tall and flex that's how I like em! Thanks for sharing.

Personally i rather enjoy the unique format of your channel, your builds are very entertaining and building this way often means things need redoing. Keep doing your thing

Good job man! Can’t wait to see IFS build! 🍻 Keep it real brother!✌🏼🤘🏼👊🏼

Looks good, just need to turn your driveshafts around so mud and water don't pack in the tubes. With the tubes angled down everything drains out!

Dude, you have inspired me so much, a couple months ago I built my first semi custom build, it proforms like crap but it’s something I made, thanks so much

Hey man. Look at the steering system for Rc cars like a Traxxas Rustler 4x4 for your steering issue for the IFS. Swap your portals around and make it Behind the axle steering. Steering links need to be inline with your axles.

I like the ifs build better. I love the creativity, plus it started looking good

When you drill into round stock for your body posts. Take a file or your 4-1/2 cutting disk and make a “flat” then you can center punch and drill. Good stuff thanks

I know the IFS hasn’t defeated you completely. But totally, take a break. Also you seem to have front solid axle on lock!

I’ve been and still am a mechanic and all that it entails 22yrs-ish. So starting over is a thing and I understand the frustration. It teaches you to walk away and surrender your pride. I’m proud of you and you will inspire the green/novice people like me and so forth. Thanks for the video I truly appreciate, blessings from Az. Rc crawlers are so BA!

He was talking about bump steer which is where the front tires bow outwards when the suspension compresses. Notice he has zero bump steer which somebody the well knows big name RTR crawlers can't claim. Well done and well explained just thought some may not know you was describing a very debatable subject
@The_Craw1space26 күн бұрын
Not sure you quite know what bump steer truly is but props on the positive comment. This channel is AWESOME! 🤘
@roberterzen151029 күн бұрын
So I was thinking about that is if you were to "copy" the elements design "sort of" it could help you with your ifs (just a thought because these videos have helped me do some builds that shouldn't be)

Hey man I'm a first time commenter on your channel. Random fault, you remind me of my favorite WWE wrestler The Undertaker! LOL. Great job dude i'm loving the content. I do the same things that you do just not as good, but practice makes perfect I guess. Just wanted to give you a thumbs up and great job keep it up.

With as many frames that you build. I am surprised you don’t build a jig.
@WafflesRC-pb4nt28 күн бұрын
I have thought about that, but I like to tailor all the frames to the bodies and axles that I'm using for a particular build.
@niklasmickelson29 күн бұрын
what links and axles are you using?
@WafflesRC-pb4nt28 күн бұрын
I will be putting links to all the parts I used on this build in the next video.

Where did you get the body from
@rorymyers530227 күн бұрын
And is the shock on a bit of a anger because you said you made the frame abite wide
@WafflesRC-pb4nt27 күн бұрын
I got the body from Amain Hobby and the shocks are at that angle because I still have to align it after I get the final weight on it
