Peter finishes making a step-back cabinet for his 1700's log settler's cabin. He finishes it with milk paint and discusses the history of milk paint and the use of pine for building Canadiana furniture on the frontier.
Using brain tanned deer hide, he sews a shooting bag for a friend. He discusses "what's in the bag", what a hunter required to shoot and maintain his flint lock. This included, tow, priming horn, ball bag for lead cast balls, flint wallet, turn screw, worm, bullet puller, bear fat for greasing patches, bullet mold. In addition to the shooting bag, a hunter would carry a powder horn and a shot bag.
He gives a tutorial and demonstrates how to use an inkle loom to weave a sash for his shooting bag and discusses the history and design of the loom.
