I am buying an inkle loom in three days. I can't wait to get started. Can I suggest that putting your roll of thread into a container an placing it on the floor beneath your working surface, will stop it rolling about. It is also good if you are using multiple colours on your warp as they wont get tangled. When you use several balls/colours you need a container for each ball. Recycle plastic large soft drink bottles or plastic milk bottles, cut the narrow neck off and you have the perfect container.
@SoniaJones
@SoniaJones 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your suggestions. I normally do have my threads on the floor as I work from a cone but back when I made this I had to work in a confined space so couldn't do my normal set up.
