I am an American home builder. Yes, you certainly do things differently over there. But I enjoyed watching your video. Absolutely love all the tongue and groove lumber you've incorporated in your build. It's quite expensive in the US, so it's not used as much.

Yea they build different here . Tongue and groove is the cheapest material here 🤦♂️😀

Hello. Very interesting video. I love the house! Interesting to see the differences in construction between there and North America. I hate drywall and the tongue n groove is gorgeous. Surprised that the electrical and plumbing is all surface. The crew built a cute little house with tons of potential for personalizing. Thanks so much for the education and sharing. Bee well !

Electrical and plumbing was done that way i was told in the past here in usa. Idk if true or not. I like .

Some homes I've done the electrical hidden in the walls but then people can't pick where they want the outlets to be at..

Very good sir. A house built of planks then and wooden studs (2''x4'') with chipped boards as interior wall cladding. The Russian electricity standard (400 V/240V) and 240 V (1-phase) sockets and the conductors for these and earth conductors (single conductor insulated and made of flexible copper wires 7 pieces of thin wire then twisted for every 1.5 mm2 insulated conductor in the tube for every 10 A secured electrical circuit then). As well as always with hidden electrical installations, wiring in ''plastic'' conduits (not then usually metal pipes) in the wooden walls. But they use electrical ('VP' the Scandinavian name) installation pipes (or flexible hose with pre-tensioned insulated wires already inserted) for wiring as standard (not like in the USA, with drilled holes in the wall studs where you thread loose cables like ROMEX inside the walls) inside residential buildings. The Russian electricity standard and the quality of the electricity in the residential buildings is similar to Scandinavia and the EU. - Notable here is that you have still done (in new construction) external electrical wiring and and visible on interior walls then electrical installations in this house. What was the reason for it in this case? Just that it was easier but then not as aesthetically pleasing, can you say that?

Well it's a budget home so one point is yes easier and cheaper the other point is who ever buys the house can easily add sockets and not worry about where the wires are at in the wall. Plus most wooden houses in russia use that technology.

Seeing your rebel hat, I know knee jerk reaction of many is to think it is racist. As a southerner I know it means to rebel (re-bel) against government. Just putting this out there before you get hateful comments. Like yourself I spent time in Russia in city between Moscow and St. Petersburg in Tver. I was very welcome in Russia. It’s sad that more Americans don’t visit Russia. Very nice country with great culture and people. Great job on the house.

What kind of longevity do those houses have? Are there frequent repairs in the future? Really appreciate your content!

Thr technology is very similar to our American stick build houses . If taken care of they will last easily 25 plus years
