Having a bathroom at the entrance is not the best thing in cold climate. And then there's no room for boots and warm clothes - it will be tricky for a big family.

There is a closet space to the right as you walk in. This exact house was sold at the stage of construction and the first floor entrance bathroom closet space was redone by the buyer. The original is a little different more space and bathroom not next to the entrance
