I own a 1989 Ford Ltd Crown Victoria. I did go through quite a bit of Aod transmissions, but learned there was a cable by the throttle body the was know for losing tension or just coming off completely by a failed bushing. That 1 bushing will save you 1000s

When building a 302 buying a block griddle helps and better heads,electric water pump, etc. And match it with a C6 trans w/3.55 or 3.73 for the rear-end. Or go 360, 390, w/ C6 trans and put a 9" inch in.

What's the scavenger effect? How did that correlate to the camshaft choice, especially with forced or naturally aspirated motors. The whole motor works together, you don't just push out some products you know on Google, add up the horsepower and cost, and call yourself a guru.
