FIRST! So guys technically the 3x monitors for this setup actually cost about $500 BUT you'll need adapters & likely more cables which increases cost by $50 or so. ~$165 for a narrow bezel 27", 75Hz, true IPS panel is pretty good for a brand that actually has customer support though. If you know of any other monitors you want us to check out that may be even better for about the same price, hop into the comments!

I work from home for a tech support chat service, and I could not live without 3 monitors! Right now they are just 3 random monitors that I had laying around so they are all different sizes and resolutions, but these monitors look like they will work perfectly for what I need, plus a little bit of gaming on the side. Thank you for looking at these monitors, will be picking them up asap!

I've been using a triple monitor setup for 7 years now. I'll never go back to anything less. It isn't necessarily about the gaming because I play very few games using all 3 panels. It's about productivity for me. Being able to have multiple windows/applications open across three screens is very useful for me when working.

Thank God I'm not the only one who realized this! There was no way that the heights would decrease in such a way. If he were to take the 3rd monitor (the "shortest" one) and place it in the middle, it would be the same as the 2nd monitor. C'mon HWC, let's try some troubleshooting before we throw some claims out like that. But I do agree that it isn't appealing.

I have been using the same three monitors for four years now, and they work great! The cheapest 27' AOC monitors I could find put on a cheap "Igloo" stand. I actually can mount another monitor along the y-axis, but instead I have raised the three monitors to a good height that fits well with the standing desk that I am using it on. It leaves for good cable management, and my largest issue is the mechanical sag - Because the monitors are so heavy, the swivels dip forward a bit, but it is nothing I that bothers me. Performing small adjustments is rather difficult, but I have it fixed to a setting I like, and it rarely needs any attention. Most of the games that I play that take good use of the extra monitors work, but I have little problems with being forced onto the middle monitor. The worst is the games that stretch or scale improperly when being full screen on a single monitor - many Unreal games seem to have that issue.

Now I’m no gamer, but I’m in Highschool and college simultaneously and LET ME TELL YA! This is a productivity B E A S T. Best monitor choice for folks on a budget, hands down. I always wanted a triple monitor set up but now I am leaning more towards a single Ultra-wide monitor. It seems more realistic and versatile. You essentially get close to three monitors in screen real estate but without the bezel. Of course, 3 monitors might be better for productivity but for media and gaming ultra-wide might be better. Not too sure how many games support ultra-wide though.

Philips makes great 21.5inch monitors for about 80-85 bucks a piece. These also make for a great triple monitor setup, they're also vesa mountable. So if you factor in a good mount for ~100 bucks you got a killer triple monitor setup for about 350.

Ive been running a triple display setup for many years now, originally eyefinity on a pair of radeon HD 6950's in crossfire. now NvSurround on a 1080ti. both create a single, virtual 5760x1080 display within windows. the displays i use i bought many years ago, are old, LG E2381's which are basic, 23 inch, TN, 1080p, 60hz displays that i chose due to the brushed look bezels, and the OSD controls being capacitive on the monitor base. so i would not disturb the displays positions, as they also lack pivot and height adjustment. all three displays were within 1 mm of height relative to each other. the wall of displays is always good to use, and i have huge, screen real estate for whatever im doing. and while gaming on 60hz displays is... well, gaming on basic 60hz displays i primarily play MMO's and do not often play frantic hectic shooters. that said game support for a triple display setup has always been the achillies heel of a setup like this. some games work well, like dirt 3, destiny 2, other games like over watch and mobas dont support it due to an unfair advantage it gives you. tending to require windowed mode, or just having two monitors black, showing nothing when you game. other games behave poorly, dead by daylight(a popular game with my friends) does start, but the game appears simply stretched out in width and height. and then the top and bottom third are cut off. again, due to a desire not to let people have an advantage over other players. for games that just dont work with a triple display setup i will usually have to kill the setup, and then re-enable it later. and then have to re-sort all my windows out as disabling and re-enabling nvsurround liked to reset window positions for everything. presently im researching for a new monitor, and while i know it'll be hard loosing all the screen space, and the peripheral vision in wow, and ff14. im planning to go to a single large, high refresh, high resolution display, and reclaim my desk.

I had a 5 monitor portrait setup for a few years... 5250x1680. It was good at first, less a few screwball issues. Then I installed Windows 10 and it’s been downhill since. I find as time has gone on, it seems like fewer and fewer games support ultra wide res and the NVidia drivers get more and more buggy with it. Not to mention that multi-monitor isn’t something I recommend trying with TN Panels (viewing angle). If you’ve got the cash for a good enough GPU and IPS panels, it can be a fun experiment, but not really much more than that. It’s definitely not something for the faint of heart. I finally ditched my setup in favor of a single 32” panel and a second portrait aux monitor for web page viewing.

I have all monitors from ViewSonic, all are 1080P, and all are IPS. I extend the desktop on the 3 monitors, but I don't like running games in surround, is what Nvidia calls it. It is either on or off and I don't like my browser spread across three monitors. I extend the desk top which gives me three monitors to use. I have an SDR hooked up on Right monitor waiting for Cuban english speaking to come on, left monitor has two applications open and center is KZbin. Alis the monitor stand lets you adjust down and up to get level lines with each able to tilt how you want.

I have a triple monitor system set up with Nvidia surround (paired with a GTX 980 Ti). For a lot of games, it's breathtaking, especially simulation games (Elite:Dangerous, Project Cars, and Assetto Corsa all come to mind). Monitors aren't the fanciest (2x BenQ VP2210-LED 21.5" displays and Dell, uhm... Something. 22", E2213H apparently. Set up as 21.5/22/21.5"), but they do the job. Such a pity that those displays are lacking a DisplayPort, since most cards nowadays have several of those, and like you said, just the one HDMI port (or two if you're lucky). For surround/eyefinity gaming, WSGF (Widescreen Gaming Forum) is an amazing resource for setup tricks, workarounds, and general info on how compatible games are, plus they used to sell a really nice triple and even 3+1 monitor setup stand. I say "used to", because they're waiting on Ergotech to release the 130 series, since the 100 series is effectively no more. 27" 1080p is tempting, especially due to it's size and price, but for $100 CAD more per monitor (and a reduction down to 24" displays) you can get a more colour accurate display in the Viewsonic VP2468 that also has a much better (and adjustable) stand, DisplayPort, and mini-DP for chaining multiple monitors... But no FreeSync. Now, if these monitors were 1440p and had DisplayPort (and were, I dunno, say, $400 CAD each) I'd seriously consider them. I would be curious as to your guys' thoughts on the Viewsonic VP2468 though (and VP2768 too)

My setup has 3x ASUS 144hz tn panels which I wouldn't fully recommend for triple setup as the viewing angles can be a better. Also the bezels really get in the way of the game imo, but still dam cool. For a triple monitor stand I would recommend an Ergotech triple monitor stand, they aren't cheap retail price ~$180 however I managed to find one on offerup for less then $60.

The fact that the monitors aren't all the same hight is throwing me. I know they're a cheap/budget option, but I would still expect the manufacturing process would make them all the same when it comes to just the stands. Me personally I would have to buy a three monitor arm just to fix that. Other than mismatched monitor hight thing, that's a nice budget setup.

Triple 24” monitors will have a much nicer pixel density the three 27” plus a smaller foot print. Mounting these on a triple monitor stand will free up so much more useable desk space. Yes game support is limited but triple monitors are great for productivity, I suggest an ultra wide monitor for gaming if you not a fan of finding configurations to adjust your games for this crazy wide aspect ratio. My three Samsung 24” SF350 were about 149.00 a piece totalling 450 before tax & mounted on an older ergotron lx triple lift stand. The Samsung sf350 also have freesync support, a PLS panel, VESA mounting & definitely do not have those ugly power bricks like those philips ones.

I have a Philips monitor. The main problem I had was the control knob. There is no way to quickly turn off the monitor for emergencies.

Hi my friend, What is a PC system? How did you configure the PC? Ryzen or intel? Can you add this to the notes? For example, Ryzen 5 1600, rx 580 gpu and so on. Can you write like this?

How about the table? Finding a good sized table to set all of my stuff on is actually a bit difficult. Could you link that as well please or a runner up? I get that this is a monitor setup video, but I did not see it in the gear list. Can't too easily set up a triple monitor rig with nothing to put them on. Help, please :(

Why not just have 1 ultrawide in the middle to eliminate the "crosshair bezel" with 2 normal monitor on the each side to extend the horizontal?

You reviewers need to stop thinking only expensive stuff can be good as I hear you say arround 3 mins in this video. For us who are working for their PC hardware it is hard earned money and budget is ALWAYS a important consideration. (No hate tho, love the channel :D)

Here is a long term triple screens user I do not recommend this setup, unless you are absolutely needs 3 screens I would recommend ultra wide with a smaller side/top screen, or Dual screen 1440p with a smaller side/top screen 1080p is not worth investing, even if you only played 1080p game, 1440p screen still looks better

I went from Asus VN24s to Samsung curved 1800R CF390s 27inxhers and it's great! For productively, racing, and elite dangerous. And eber please use a controller PS4, XB1, XB360, when racing. Dirt Rally isn't a browser flash game you play with arrow keys. It's not a racing wheel, be it's better than keyboard.

Can I connect these 3 monitors so that it works like 3 different monitors rather than one widescreen? When I maximize a video or a window it should only take that particular monitor rather than all 3 of them. Is there a video about that? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

The only thing people didn't like about multi-monitor setup is bezel, even thought bezel on monitor are getting thinner these days, but still it kind of annoying and not as smooth as single large screen.

I had this kind of setup and for all of you who are thinking about this don't.. If you gonna spend 600$ on this rather go and buy samsung 49" 32:9 144hz .. The experience is way better bc there is no bezels the refresh rate is bigger and resolution smaller so it's easier to run.. and it's like 750$ (I'm talking about cj890 model not the more expensive one that have features you don't need..)

I am trying to connect 6 external monitors to my laptop. I am using DVI-D dual-link to HDMI cable to connect the monitors to the HDMI splitter and HDMI to HDMI to connect the splitter to the laptop. There is just one problem, when I am extending the screens the external monitors seem to duplicate themselves rather than extend. ANY SUGGESTIONS?
