Is it just me worried that her nails are too short? I would have used at least two inches on a one inch board. Im a novice at building but the nails look very short. I would be nervous about putting weight on the sides of the planks. I’m utterly mesmerized by the build though. This could be used with raw timber. ❤❤❤

The outer thickness of the bamboo determines the length of the nail and I think it will pierce the shell completely but that is only my opinion.

Pourquoi ne pas mettre quelques seau de mortier sur les pierres de chacune des piles pour que si au fil des années lors des crues et que les bambous se disloquent, les pierres ne soient pas emportées et les piles du pont détruites ???

They way you handle all that wood with no protection gave my calloused hands an inferiority complex, and I've worked at a lumber mill😂 sorry to be the guy talking about PPE in the comments but an injury can really put you out especially when you love working with your hands so much. nice bridge build. I'm just a bit concerned if it would have been better if the bamboo is further extended 31:14 instead of just a few inches on top of that bamboo&rock pillar and the bamboo rod thru the 3 long bamboos is inside or on top of the pillar rather than out of the pillar. just in case of heavy foot traffic it breaks later.

Is it just me, or did others harbor this misconception? I never tended to imagine bamboo to be a very stiff material, so I imagined the bridge deck would be much more structurally complex. Were others surprised to see her using only three bamboo shoots to support the deck?
