Its a 65MM bean, nailed on in 4inch spaces, then sealled to the base of the reel. Quite easy in the grand scheme of things. You can buy the trim from any roof and guttering supplier. I used a light oak effect version.

I have done these before and I am offering some advice only. When you do these types of projects always ensure your epoxy is covering all parts of the top, you don't want things sticking up because in the future when you get scratches and gouges in it you can sand it down and reapply more epoxy over the old. In this case the beer caps may take some scuff damage when sanding is done. I hope this is helpful and not hurtful.

Hello Matt, Im just drinking my way through 300 odd bottles to make a table like yours. After you have spread the resin, do you run a straight edge across the edging to make sure its flat? Also ive seen a lot of people apply a heat gun or blow torch to the resin to get rid of air bubbles? I take it you had no issues there. Cheers mate
@Musician3244 жыл бұрын
If you get self levelling resin you shouldn’t have any issues. I also used gorilla glue to stick them as it’s quicker and dries clear. I found it didn’t work as well with tile adhesive. You shouldn’t need a blow torch.
