Ok Im subbed, can't beat a working mans sense of humour Will you ever tell us exactly what the boss called you when you brought it home or would that get you profanity violation 😂😂😂 Best bit about cleaning the outside is that the boss might not find it quite as visually offensive and the girls won't catch ebola or some other madness off it either.

Hi mate looks like a great project 👍 just something I noticed it might be the camera angle but it looks like the keel at the bow end has been squished out of shape by the weight of the boat on the scaffold ? It’s a lot of weight on a narrow support and the keel/floor of the boat isn’t made flat ? Might want to have a look ?

@@Thegasman51 Hi pal - I know exactly what you mean. It is actually the shape of the keel, I placed the forward scaffold tube at the point because it is quite flat across the keel at that point. It is quite a strange shaped hull, almost flat bottomed from the aft to about 2/3 forward than transitions quite rapidly into a displacement bow. It is lovely and sturdy in the water (not tried manoeuvres on it yet though to see how it handles). 👍

its a birchwood vanguard , i had one as my first boat... its a great boat that can go on canals and coastal...

I think you’re on the right lines mate but when I google Birchwood Vanguard, they look a bit more rounded on the cabin.

Now if there was only somethin like that Downunda m8! Insurance companies want $5-7 grand or a tinny with a tiller on the motor for a grand. Has your curly 4 footed partner made any suggestions yet? I could see the degreaser made a change before karcherin Nice start so far m8!

@@gregbolitho9775 that’s ridiculous mate, insurance companies will ruin the boating scene and make accessible only for people with plenty of money! Whereabouts down under? I did a bit of travelling 20 years ago!
