I've been following you for quite a while now and there have been times when I stopped watching. Not because of disinterest or anything but because I sort of took in all your work and as a viewer I was almost completely exhausted. Sorry about that! But I have always returned and now when I watch this video I can't help but be fascinated and impressed by your work, your problem solving, your thinking but, perhaps most importantly when doing such great work; your incredible teamwork. You are truly a model of how to see a task, how to tackle that task, but perhaps more importantly, how not to let setbacks destroy your determination, your work and your dreams. You see the problems, create a strategy and solve it. You are meticulous in your work and it is so liberating to see because it is like the proof of all that we who follow you have always known. You will succeed and one day you will be able to look back on a beautiful Sarinda and you will be so happy. You convey so many positive things in your videos, in your work but the most important thing I think is your phenomenal teamwork. Something that cannot be described enough as a textbook example, I will follow your work until that day when you stand on deck with each glass of champagne and raise a toast. Many of us will drink this toast with you because this journey feels almost communal. You have cared for a treasure, on the way to realizing a dream and as a couple you are an example to so many.

Absolutely brilliant reminder of what you started off with, and exactly how much you have achieved since. Everywhere, there was rot and decay. The bilges, filthy-dirty and neglected, a long forgotten memory until now. This has been an epic voyage for me as a viewer, and is a testament to your dedication and perseverance. With your lives being so full of all the day to day stuff, and, other projects, you are a truly inspirational couple. Bravo, and long may your voyage continue.

Hi guys I have been following your channel all the way. You are amazing because not only have you been restoring your boat but unbeknown you have helped me to restore my 51 year old cruiser. I have pinched so many of your methods. I can honestly say that you taught me to fibre glass and to use epoxy on the wood work. You also gave me the encouragement to keep going when I was struggling with it. Like you I still have a bit to do but like you always say if it’s broken you’ll fix it. Good luck with the rest of your project. 😊😊😊

I have never met, and will probably never meet either of you. But through these 200 episodes I have grown to love the project and appreciate the bravery of your choices and admire the absolute love you have for one another to do this incredibly life defining thing together. What a pleasure and unselfish act to share it with us. I hope it continues to grow so others can live vicariously through your videos a life that most of us would never have the courage to attempt. Also, I saw Simon's butt crack in the first 60 seconds... not sure how I feel about that. Gemma, you are human, and you will never be able to totally engage with us and ignore the online broken people. But I hope you find grace and tolerance and don't let it get to you as you continue on.

What your family has achieved with Robbie and sometimes friends can only be said as remarkable and your old nail a small piece of wood still has it's pride and place in my home. The skill and tradesman and womanship is outstanding, match with the determination to solve each problem as they arise that many would just call it a day. You can't get much better at pure determination on any project regardless of the cost you still battle on. Their also won't be much Emily won't be able to do on the DIY front when she needs to and the bounding involved is now part of her life when she is somewhere in the world skippering and sailing Mum and Dads boat. Enjoyed ever episode with plenty more to come.

Sarina has been a total Labor of love. Once finished she will reward you in kind. She was quite poorly and now is coming together right nicely. She's looking like a proper belle! Your sense of accomplishment and confidence has grown from the early days.,to the point l hear other ship restorers quoting you guys. Regards from Australia

Absolutely amazed at how much work has been done and to such a standard - the old girl really was a rotten piece of junk heading for a bonfire but now she is on her way back to sea. Inspiring.

Very illuminating! Shows just how much you have achieved with your "one bite at a time" strategy! At this rate she'll come together eventually, stronger and better than she was! Excellent stuff! Great nostalgic video. Thanks Simon and Gemma!

Stumbled on this channel around 12 months ago. Binge watched a lot over the past month while recovering from major surgery.....BUT....after watching this video I now realise that I have missed so much, so.......MORE Binge watching, might need to see if I can find Ep 1 and go from there. Look forward to the program each Saturday. Thanks people.

When this is all over Simon/Gemma, Gemma/Simon you guys will be awarded something for preserving a heritage. But what the luminary gives you cannot hold a candle to what he/she understands and why we value you - those of us who have been here from day one and admire you for your dedication, perseverance and sheer human grit in the face that me, being a practical man who built his family home single handed, appals me. We love you.

Two people along with some very good friends rebuilding something that a whole team of shipwrights with access to large funding and materials built. Amazing work you two.

Looking back it doesn't seem like that long. Progress has been amazing and I'd forgotten she was white. She is starting to look like a ship again. Can't wait for the next 200 episodes and see you enjoying the rewards of your labour of love. Keep up the banter and innuendo too. Wonderful channel. By far my favourite. Thanks Jemma and Simon and Crew.
