yeah, after boasting that his neighbours were annoying and there would be no more noise after the construction of the first shed. Plus he probably is working on cars all the time. I wouldn't want Benny as my neighbour.
@steveobrien879211 ай бұрын
No, it's not like that for me. We all need to make a little noize from time to time. I'm Very much a live and let live kind of guy. I mean they had to realize that eventually the shed was going to get finished and they just needed to be patient. I really just thought it was funny that his neighbors made buts out of themselves right at the home stretch. Then just a few months later he starts another shed project and from they start they have no idea how long it's going to take and were probably fearing the worst. Fortunately for everyone this time around it was much shorter. @@schmonzo42

Regarding the caulking, look for a product called backer rod for the larger gaps. It's like miniature pool noodles that you stuff in gaps. Also tape can be used for clean lines.

It helps the weld if you grind the paint off first. Especially with mig. Stick handles the contaminates a little better.

Here straight from the main shed video. It's nearly midnight and I'm just thinking about if you stick four of these sheds on top of the main shed, don't level them and just turn them into spare rooms and people have to be strapped to the beds. It's completely stupid and incredibly expensive but imagine the neighbours little faces light up.... This is now my new favourite channel. Apparently you do things with cars but I reckon sheds are the future. Motorised Sheds. Or you could confuse the neighbours by bricking up their front door and let the hilarity ensue. Love from Liverpool UK.

Another great shed, and another great video! If you plan on doing a lot of welding practice in the new shed, I would highly suggest adding some sort of ventilation fan. Welding in a confined space with little airflow is hard on the body.

As a welder, I think most of our bandsaws run a water based lubricant so that it will dry out by the time we get it and doesn't have any lasting contaminates. Plus grinding the paint off of the welding area and spot where the ground clamp is will help a bunch. Even if you can burn over the paint, it cuts out some of the random stuff with it. The ground is the most important part to clean though. And if you barrel stuff that nozzle more you won't get those lil poopie bois. lol. Don't be afraid to tack over the whole welding area, grind it down and then burn a stinky weld over it if you can't fill the gap. We all learn to weld by fixing our shitty ones. lol. Nice shed bud.

Quick tip for when you’re doing silicone next, lay down a line and spray it with some quality window cleaner spray (none of that dogwater you can get at the local cornerstore and leaves streaks on the glass) something with high alcohol content, then just use the tool and you won’t have a problem with the silicone sticking to anything else

Benny the reason the welds were coming out so shitty at first is because you didn’t grind the paint off of the metal, if the surface isn’t clean the weld is gonna be contaminated.

The price is insane. I’m building a 4.5x2.5m garage so I can restore my mini but all of that so far has cost like £500 and 400 of that was the 5x3m concrete slab the rest was on bolts, paint, etc. the legs of the frame are made from the stanchions from an old 4 post lift, the pitched roof is some old see-saw car display ramps turned upside down then it’s all connected together with some massive box section I pulled out the bushes at work then the roof is made from a bunch of dismantled pallets with some roof felt on and the walls are gonna be some old traditional marquee walls so they’re easily detachable. And I wasn’t even really trying to do it on a budget I mean if I didn’t have access to all the free scrap metal it would of cost a ton but I do so it didn’t . Also gonna just do a quick wiring job to rig up some lights but that won’t cost anything
