I have the 8 port butterfly from Japan here in Canada. I have the North American turbo model s12 chassis it’s being swapped into. Super Rad to see that someone has been bringing the Ca back to the forefront.

what are some suggestions when rebuilding the engine to avoid the main bearing failure? just porting the oil return?

Highly suggest modifying your sump to increase capacity and baffles, shim your oil pump for more pressure, install head drains, clean oil passages out really well when rebuilding, make sure clearances are proper and consistent, run the correct weight oil for your engine, don’t over heat your oil so recommend an oil cooler and get an oil pressure gauge

I have another question, regarding the oil return porting. The hole does get bigger, right? Doesnt this affect the head gasket too? or will a stock gaskets hole be big enough

Try not to buy reps. But if you have to just don't buy anything mechanical thats a rep. No ebay injectors, manifolds turbos ect. They may last a small amount of time but they will fail. In terms of brands to purchase the list could go on and on. Best to check reviews of other people and see what they have used and recommend.

Sick! I still have 550cc but they are maxed out. Im planning to get some 1200cc.

@@spudhellwig probably perfect size to start with them and make sure you have a decent pump hardwired with a relay.

Are you in Aus? Similar here rolling shells are 10-15k. Had decent car is 25k really nice ones 35k plus. Just rust buckets at the end of the day haha.
