TRY A ROLLER NEXT TIME - I have abandoned brushes that leave bristles behind and scrapers that don't do a consistent job leaving the fiber weave texture at places. Using a 4" tight foam roller is the only way to go 😊. I get a very smooth coverage an almost no cloth texture in the first coat. The second coat eliminates any are slight cloth texture and puts on a very even coat of epoxy without drips and sagging.

At 8:18, I think you could have done better at rotating the pencil so it sharpened rounder.

In the summer of 2022, I tried a kayak and, in general, for the first time in my life, what it is like to walk on a river by boat. then I began to be interested in such a type of boat as a canoe, because theoretically it suits me better. because I swim slowly and I need more space because I swim with my girlfriend and I need space for the dog and things. During the war, you don't swim anywhere in the rivers and you don't go on a trip, because now is not the time. but for a walk on the weekend, good sports and recreation. therefore decided to buy a canoe. but it's a fiasco. because this type of boat is not popular in our country. because when you say canoe, everyone laughs and asks if I have a bow and feathers. there are canoes for sale in Ukraine, but there are not many models and sizes and the price is very high. To be honest, my salary is 360 euros. therefore, the purchase of a canoe is very expensive for me. decided to build it himself. but cedar is a rare tree in Ukraine, so I will make it from Ukrainian pine. it is very similar to cedar because they are the same type of tree. I found a drawing on the Internet, now at the stage of preparing materials and tools. the light in Kyiv is already stable because before there was light for several hours a day. I started watching your channel a few days ago where you filmed the process of building a boat. but when I saw series number 12, where you made an inscription about the ship of the russian invaders, I was very pleasantly surprised. emotions were joyful and proud that there are people in the world who understand and support us in this brutal war. thank you very much. I am writing this comment and the air alarm has started outside our window. 😉 Iranian drones again.

Ivan, I have to say this is probably the loveliest comment I've ever had on KZbin. I'm thrilled to have reached Ukraine, and that my Cyrillic text was legible to a native speaker! Pine will be perfect for a canoe. In Ireland, almost all timber is imported so we don't have a "cheap" local choice. Since cedar is traditional in Canada, where the style comes from, it made sense for me to use it. The exact timber actually isn't very important - it Simply forms the "sandwich" between the fiberglass layers, providing the shape. Most of the final strength is from the fiberglass. Early in the war I saw a news report with a community preparing soup in a huge vat outside in a village. They were stirring the pot with a canoe paddle. I know it's silly, but it was one of the images I remember - normal people, normal lives, normal hobbies, ripped apart by Russia. You should know I've never met anyone who doesn't feel the same - we are behind you 100%. I'm proud that the NLAWs used early in the war were built in Belfast. I understand that you also have a tense situation in the country of the Irish, Scots and British. thanks for the weapon. without the help of the allies, we probably would have been destroyed as a state, but not the people who joined the partisans. Our soldiers use NLAW every day. the first 2 months, aviation, artillery and NLAW were the main weapons. now the war is difficult because the style of war has changed. now the war consists of three components. artillery, logistics and positional battles in the trenches.
