I've just done a total ground up mod on my 67 gt500, took about 20 months of knuckle busting hard work. I choose to go with a roadster shop fast track full frame with pro-touring IRS suspension. I decided not to go with the coyote and go with a built 1200+rwhp supercharged 427 from prestige motorsports. Done 70% of the work myself, I suck at painting, wiring and putting in the glass so I let the professionals handle that. A man's gotta know his limitations.

I really want to get into a build like this. How much was the overall cost of your project? I don’t even have the car picked out yet 🙈

Good job! You were smart. You did what could and had people with skills to do stuff you couldn't. A lot of us get stuck and then lose interest and the project just sits.

@@pedaltheglobe419 dunno... im not bragging about doing something on the internet I didnt do. but t56 swapping, full suspension build, watts link, years of maintenance, a garage full of tools and tones of earned knowledge by doing all of it feels pretty good to me. oh i have a can of spray paint too!

@@alexking7719 What never sat right with me is rich and retired people sitting in chairs with signs with their names on them at car shows next to cars they paid another man to build. But to each their own I guess.

@@pedaltheglobe419 youre so lost dude... I race my shit, buy and maintain all my shit. I work 7 days a week to build my life. you think im retired and just sitting at car shows??, the envy reeks dude, but that aint me.

@@alexking7719 I was not talking about you. You are lost. I was agreeing with you to an extent on the type of people you were complaining about. No envy here guy because I own a multi-million dollar company I built from the ground up. Its not impressive to me to maintain your own vehicles. If you can make $500 an hour in your business and it takes you 1-2 hours to go get supplies and change your own oil it makes you a financial moron to not pay someone $50-$100 to do it when you could be spending the time building your company. It is called opportunity cost of your time. You only have so many hours in the day. Time is finite. Money is not.

How fast would the top speed be? also are there upgraded engines I could swap out that don’t require messing around with the original engine bay but would still provide at least 600 hp?
