My bigest frustration is preview playback, expecially when effects are implemented. The preview clugs along. Very frustrating to get a feel for pacing and movement. Thanks for the review of the Puget! I'll look into upgrading my set-up.

I’m not here to pick sides or have any brand loyalty, but more so will recommend based off experience and what works the best. My M1 MacBook Pro (literally the base version) has no issues with any playback. Multiple clips of 4K with effects on each all play back without any problems. I ran into so many issues and said enough was enough. I hope you at least give it a chance!

Rikard and Jiva are both funny and creative editors and deserve whatever better equipment can be provided. Rikard is also great in front of the camera!

why some of envato downloads for premiere pro takes too long to render and my PC taking slow in editing.

I don't really use their templates for Pr Pro, we mainly use their stock video and sfx + graphics for thumbnails. Some of their Pr templates use some older fx which are not gpu accelerated hence why they are slow, some templates are great and then some are older. It's just the way it is sometimes!

Temps taken while benchmarking: CPU peaks at 90C and GPU peaks at just under 80C. Power draw at idle is 66W and 564W at full load.

I'm BEGGING YOU...! I edit a lot of multi-camera live stand-up comedy. Sometimes the color is different between the cameras. Can you make a tutorial on how to make the colors match in a multi-camera Source sequence? (Different then just normal video color matching) Or do you have a link to a video that could tell me? I can't find it and this is something I really need to learn for my job. I'm begging you!

Yes! We put all the specs in thr description box. His setup has 64gb of ram. Ram is like adding more lanes to highway, so info and data can flow better. So for sure we factored that in! ❤

Great that he has a new computer to edit with but an M-series MacBook Pro or Mac Pro would be much better. A PC is not a good choice for video editing.
