I had no idea you guys would work on a c3 with a ls swap and you guys change out the trans. Ive watched 3 videos, the whipple, c3 and this video and love them so far. Great example, the only thing is the reliability of those rigs means the resale values remain high, but money spent on the purchase means less on repairs. Reguardless hard to go wrong with a Toyota/Lexus product.

One of the tricky things on Mercedes for lighting updates is the monitoring system. LED can make things look more modern with higher performance, but without load resistors you keep getting errors. I am sure OJ has been down this road before.

It’s done, with high level coding. It’s tricky and time consuming but we have the resources. It will be featured if we run into those problems.

this m276 engine actually got factory boost by Benz. The later 400's and 43 AMGs had turbo'd v6, so it be pointless to try to build something to compete with a car we could buy used for less money if we sold this project and bought used.

The new GLE’s with the AMG sport line treatment are sharp. The fender flares give them an aggressive look, and they look more , “executive” than previous years/trims. Hard to get too excited about an SUV build without gimmicks like huge HP or goofy accessories, but I think we got an obtainable realistic plan that will relate to a lot of watchers.

As the owner of a 2015 ML63 I disagree with a lot of your ideas. W166 is not at all an off road vehicle unless maybe you have the very rare on/off road package. I think the absolute best case would be to find a facelift model GLE63 that has been smashed in the rear. Swap the front clip, put some lowering springs and AMG wheels on it. I'm also not a fan of the big screens that stick out of the dash. Mine came with one installed and I put it back to stock. The stock infotainment system has all the essentials you need. Phone calls and audio via Bluetooth and a 360 camera system if you're lucky. Maybe even updating the front clip to Gle43 spec would be enough if that's the best you can find. I'm still very curious about the Chinese front swaps, but can't really justify the cost to facelift my ML to GLE looks. The value of the ML63 is falling rapidly from where I bought it 2 years ago. I've seen early years of ML63 w166 going in the teens now. Maybe even a better option to get one of those with high miles or some issue and mechanically restore it.
