Hey Laura, great build, very creative! Quick tip to get all the holes to line up, when laying out for holes use an awl or similar pointed object to poke a hole right where the two lines bisect. If it’s slightly off you can adjust and make bigger by eye. Gives a perfect starting point for the Forstner bit and the holes will line up every time. Keep up the original work! Keep improving :)

Another beautiful project. I just wish you would wear your safety glasses more. I was in steel manufacturing for 35 years and had to get steel slivers taken out of my eye 3 times. Not a fun time experience.

Hey Laura, does that jointer not have a swinging guard ? That blade is wicked dangerous. Be careful a sleeve catch happens in a fraction of a second.
