That's dope bro. As a contractor when your finishing the smoothing. I know water is limited you always want your concrete wet even your trowel. You won't be fighting it as much. But good job. Water is your friend always spray it on. And with the white liquid stuff speed up the drying. Try adding it when your done. Just splash it on it will sink in.

That note + white flowers is an obvious symbolisation of the funeral of your project. Whoever did this spent some time and effort planning and realizing it, signaling your build to local authorities would take less than this FU message.

Leave a note for the graffiti writers on what you want to do with the spot and add a “no diss”. In graffiti the no diss is usually written under a new graff piece when you go over someone with a “better” piece, but in this case it’s just to preserve the spot. They might respect the space after that but some writers just don’t care. (Coming from 10+ years of graffiti experience)

@@peterchavez655 His intention may not be to diss, but some people put some real work into those pieces. Especially the one over the ramp in the last episode and it was painted over without permission mid process. My question would be who is to say that the skate ramps are more valuable than the graffiti art. Because he didn't want his ramps messed up he messed up their graffiti. Just seems a bit wrong to cover someone else's passion and hard work because you think your passion is more valuable. I'm coming at this as a skater and graffiti artist.

Hey Zack, I’m super amazed by what your doing! Looks really awesome. I was working for a construction chemicals company for a while and out of my experience you will get a significantly better bond to the surface if you use an drill hammer with a chisel instead of the angle grinder. If you chisel a rectangular shape on the wall and on the ground you’ll get a mechanical bond between the new and the existing concrete. A little bit of bonding agent can be added after brushing off the dust. If you have a chance to bring a large cooler with ice cubes and add them to the water you’ll likely end up with fewer cracks. But that’s just my five pennies worth of advice. Best of luck! I’ve just subscribed to your channel. Curious to see how the built continues!

honestly dude I used to be really into graffiti and painted illegally for 10 years before quitting to do other things with my life. If you made a sign on a scap sheet that just said: We're trying to build a diy skate park. We don't support the graffiti but we cant control what anyone does. Please keep the graffiti away from the skate and all will be fine. They just wanna paint and not get buffed. They dont hate you. They think its cool what youre doing that why that dude started a piece right above the quarter you built. he just wanted to be part of the shit. But it makes since you wanna keep out graf to keep the city out and theyll understand. anyway keep killin it! this installation was a huge step forward for the spot!! big ups!

Yo.. that Pens piece is sick! Please dont buff that! When you buff someone's work, it feels the same way it would if you came back and your ramps were gone. Let the Painters keep painting if the city isn't covering it up. It's different if the city is already buffing it. In which case you don't have to worry about it anyway. The paint will help preserve the ramps if they decorate your builds ;b
