Welcome Anna. That's a super nice looking bike. I noticed some of the sound was added in post. When you took the bike out of the van, the wheel and crank arms were barely moving, and there was a lot of clicking going on. I was wondering, it looked like the sound coming from that rachet wrench was real. If so, hit the GMBN tech guys up for a 90 tooth rachet! If your wondering, I work professionally repairing wireless microphone equipment, and am also a tool guru, so that's why my comments might seem a little strange. Don't worry about the comments about your riding, anyone on a new bike shouldn't look super confident, unless their too crazy to know better. More experience should equal less confidence on a new bike always.

I like that you have doddy under the thumb already, if he ever plays difficult with you just bat the eyelashes and give him a pretty smile, im sure he will give in to you! I will say lassy i raised my eyebrows when you said your full 29”er. I though a woman of your frame would want the smaller wheel on the back so you dont buzz the tyre on the chamois. Do you ever experience this or do you never have any problem with clearance?

Firstly, welcome to Anna! Man, this was so inspiring, makes me want to tear down my whole bike (only recently got into MTB'ing), but I feel a bit intimidated by it all - That said, I've got a nice mini torque wrench on the way from a local Bike shop, I'll definitely get it going as I feel I'm in it for the long run, and I love working on my own cars, bikes, computers, etc, so this will be a nice new journey. Just quite daunting to get to know all the parts and tools you need. But you have to start somewhere I guess! Cheers guys!
