You could clearly see how soft it all was with the marks the tracks made, but good job of getting it all cleaned up and flat. The stone always looks so good when first spread. That must have been a pretty low spot back there where you dumped the dirt and I saw you leveled that out pretty good, too. It'll be interesting to see what the cement truck does to the driveway. Don't think there's much doubt you'll be back for some followup, and then there's always your specialty with the possible sewer work!

Work is work... but sometimes doing it piecemeal just tries your patience. You can see what needs to be done but can’t get to it.... yet! Nice job with what you had. Was thinkin ... I bet well over half of all the local limestone quarried goes into “base rock”. It’s the universal finish in probably 90 percent of the unpaved roads... and way over half of all driveways. Am I thinking right?

backhoes are dinosaurs, sorta do things but not well, you can buy a skidder and a mini ex for what you will pay for a backhoe. still have one backhoe in my fleet and nobody wants to use it.
