The building montage was absolutely amazing, but what was even more so was the plot twist that you can literally see every single player and their servers form a spiral galaxy. Now THAT'S impressive. What's crazy is that you can have multiple Dyson spheres around the same star, just with different circumferences. So you could make a "Dyson onion" if you will. Also if you set the radius to max, and have a planet orbit inside the sphere, it's ray receivers work 100% of the time. Great for making interstellar power plants or critical photons.

I believe the "dyson-onion" already exists as a concept. But instead of using it for pure power generation, it is used to power the most powerful 'single' 'computer' ever conceived: a Matryoshka Brain. A computer/AI so powerful, it can perfectly simulate EVERY SINGLE ATOM IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE IN REAL TIME.

@palmberry55767 ай бұрын
@@punthebun yes, but you cannot simulate the whole universe using less matter than there is in the whole universe. This is easily provable by considering what would happen if the computer were to simulate itself recursively. It would have to be able to store an infinite amount of information with a finite amount of atoms and be able to perform calculations infinitely quickly. (There are probably quantum level limitations that could also physically prove this to be impossible, but I’m not quite knowledgeable enough to make a definitive statement about them)
