Such a sick first car! I’ve got a 325 coupe. Done its first season with just coilovers, seat and a welded 3.38. It’s going through its 2nd evolution over the winter:- 3.0 swap, rear subframe, lock & a bit of aero.

Wouldn’t say “crazy” by today’s standards it came with a lot of good parts already on it, the whole preface of this was to not get an expensive or nice car to properly learn on. Hate to say it but these things especially manual ones don’t go for $1000 running and driving anymore

I got my 01 325ci last month for $2200 with a clean title. Interior was gross but I swapped it with a part out car for $300. I’m glad you’re enjoying it, but better deals are still out there.

Been sitting ever since bec I’m a perfectionist and tend to overbuild my car for the track. I just try to make sure everything is checked twice before beating it

Got a 01 330i for 5k, has a load of higher end parts stuff though. Shits worth however much you’re willing to pay for it.. that’s literally how worth works.

You can buy the lens covers or caps, not sure what their called but they are like 40 bucks each and they are invisibly clear and perfect for getting rid of the fog
