@@shadyfly23 well, Buicks, crown vics and Camry AWD or a cheaper Nissan, but if you want a comfy ride it's usually a bigger car to get a smoother ride on bumpy pothole roads. I've had a lot of Camaros, A couple Miatas, and a lot of trucks. If you're going to have a drift car then maybe get a street truck or even a truck to pull your crap with. My first car was a Miata and I don't recommend that for a daily even as a teenager, you will want space for your friends, so get a four door, maybe a Toyota with an inline* six. Even a Camaro is too small for even you and one friend with all your junk for a day just going to the court or beach, let alone taking back some people when you link up. Think of what you do the most, and go from there but remember there is a very strong, higher that zero chance that your first car gets totaled, so don't spend more than you're willing to lose, and if only for the driving experience and cheaper insurance just don't buy anything considered sporty or painted red until after you're 25 with nothing negative in your driving record. Edited for spelling, because my phone makes decisions when it should just butt out.

@shadfly23 comfy, nicer ride, for a lower dollar might be a Durango or a Tahoe, you can have the engine rebuilt relatively cheap in comparison to a lot of vehicles and they are harder to kill completely. So check out Camry, Tahoe, Durango, Maybe look at a used 2500 Diesel pick up that isn't lifted and has stock wheels and tires still, those are well put together but still cost quite a bit.

Most importantly, don't try going fast anywhere but the drag strip or the track, because you don't know how stupid the other drivers are going to be, when they will decide to get into the lane you're in resulting in you smashing into them so fast that your car is now just a flat disk from from to back, and you never know when your tire might just blow out, even brand new ones.

Okay it is time for the world to stop sleeping on the NC Mx-5/ Miata!! They are cheap enough now.. the sigma that it’s a the boat off the Miata family think about it as simply as this.. the highly sought after Mazda speed NB Miata’s weight is on par with the NC Miata if not slightly more plus bigger inside and more amenities and as fast as the Mazda speed Miata if not faster N/A. You may want to consider adding it to your list more often.

Have you drive E36 or e46? E36 more sport car than e46, e46 m54 bad engine, had a lot issues.. e46 diesel, Better than E36 diesel this ok, but for petrol engine, m50/52, m42/44 too, are the solution. E90 are bad too, the solution in m57 my firend. In Italy and Europe in the sad reality 😂

I don't have a drift car yet but I will tell you I'm an E36 boy and I've tried to convince myself that I like the e46, but the main thing is those headlights into the hood, the headlights on the E36 just looks so sleek and cut and clean and the hood looks really nice whereas on the E46 the hood is a little bit more bowed out in the lights have that curve in them, but I will tell you with e36s if you're willing to make a sacrifice on one of the things you want, then you can get them for a lot cheaper like you can sacrifice the higher power engine for the lower power engine and later on engine swap it, or you can sacrifice the manual transmission you want for an automatic and later transmission swap it, or you could sacrifice the hardtop you want for a convertible top and put a hardtop on it though it won't look as clean, or instead of getting the coupe version you can get a sedan version none of that's ideal, but the car is getting up there in price so through my research I can tell you if you're willing to make one of these sacrifices then it will be a lot cheaper out the gate, also side note if you're new to Drifting and you don't know what to look for one small tip is if anybody says it's an E36 but the year of the car is after 1999 then they either don't know their car or they're scamming you hoping you don't know the car
