Best tip I ever got was from tiktok - melt sugar in a fry pan and dip the edges in it to join the pieces together (as the sugar is like super glue and keeps the sides together really well!)

Ya I had similar experiences with these kits. You have to go in steps if I remember correctly. Do the walls then put aside and let it dry, then add more bit by bit letting the frosting dry before you do next step. It took me many disastrous attempts over many years to learn the tricks. Did peaches eat it? We usually ate the candies and gumdrops off .
