You got me on the air when I first got my license with videos on antennas that were really top notch. I’m bad at leaving feedback even when it is well deserved but I have to recognize and thank you for passing on the pearls of knowledge. 73 From Boston!

You’re welcome my friend. Your wife and you are in my prayers. You’ve helped many people over the years. I believe “online Elmer” is the perfect term to describe you. Hi Jim. I just wanted to send you this comment. I've learned a ton from your videos. I've been interested in HAM radio since I was a child. Now in my 60's I finally have both the time and the money to get involved in it. Your presentations have been incredibly helpful and very enjoyable at the same time. I deeply appreciate the effort you go to in producing them. My wife and I will be praying for your continued good health. Joel KM6ZBL

I just found your videos. Your intro (1:19) is awesome. So many youtubers try to make a good intro that represents something but so many of them create something I skip past because it's annoying. Your intro is just plain pleasant, short and sweet. Having the audio of someone calling your call sign is a great touch. Looking forward to watching more of your content.

I don't yet have my ham license however, your videos have made me want to go from a cheap baofeng and my local repeater nets to an HF DX capable setup. As I am of little means and little space, I've purchased a 1977 yaesu 301D and I'm currently building a mag loop which will work on 20 and 40m bands. I'm studying for my basic with HF license here in Canada. You've inspired me to reach for the world. Thank you Jim!! 73 from outside of Toronto.

Hi Jim You're to be admired for taking on such a massive project at our age and stage. The room appears to be very well planned and progressing nicely. Soon the fun part begins, assembling the station. Was a bit shaken by your comment on wheel chair access. I had no idea and I hope that day is not imminent. Wishing you all the best in 2020, take care, please pace yourself and I look forward to an update.

I am just now getting back on the air. The radioroom is almost complete. I have dipole made from aluminum tubing attached to a 4 by 6 wood post at the rear patio cover. It is only 20 feet high. Today, for the third time, I replaced all of the feedline. Hopefully I can complete that tomorrow. The losses on the two previous cables was too high. I hope that I can get the tower up soon. City restrictions are 30 or 35 feet max height. In any case, I am trying to go slow and careful. I did brake 4 ribs a few weeks ago. I made dumb move and fell. Thanks and I hope to hear you soon. 73, Jim W6LG
