Adding that bolted hub was a really nice touch and adds some weight. I want to trust my MIG like you, but an old school HT here so I always chicken out and go back to my stick.

Thanks! Yeah I wanted the weight! I usually use a stick welder for stuff like this, but I just recently got a new mig so I had to put it to the test

I’ve actually climbed up there and stood on the very edge of the shelf and jumped up and down and it stayed in place!

Nice vise and nice stand! You are tough with that hand drill and tap. Find a greenfield no 7 tap wrench!

In future note, put your hammer drill in jackhammer selection, use with a blunt worn out end, and put it on the side. It’ll vibrate everything down.
