This is not just a "collection". *Vice Museum* is what this is. A vault of history and knowledge. The displays are so well done. Not only technically complete, but *organized*. As much of a vice freak that Stelter is, he is asking for more info. Our host Jesus is a vice scholar. Professor of vices. And giving props to other vice scholars, totally class act. This is Disnyland level vice experience. Thanks to white dude Will for filming, and *mad respect* to badass cholo vice master Jesus.

Haha I love this guy. People who have such passion and focus on one subject are some of the coolest people to hang out with. This guy has a story for every single vice he owns. This is so cool. I’m so glad this is being documented on video.

What I like most about Jesus’s collection is that he acquired it from loads of different passionate peeps, we all dealt with Jesus one way or another, always fun and his passion is contagious. Bravo hermano 👌👌👌

Being a collector myself, I get the drift... I never owned a vice, but still. LOVE the fact that you, Will, give that grey vice to your friend - knowing, you will not get it used, and that it will be greatly appreciated by Jesus, adding value to an already VERY impressive collection 👍👍👍.

Got 2 6 inch Dawn offsets in my workshop. The workshop I used to work in had over 20 of them. Everyone's bench had one. When I left I bought my bench. The other vice I broke the moving jaw, 😢. You can still buy them new. They also make fabricated ones now. Cheers and G'day from Tasmania

Astounding vise collection! No fractal jaw vises? I'm aware of two styles, don't know the manufacturers though. I have a tiny vise my dad said was the first vice his wife gave him... Ha ha dad! I've got about five or six modern machinists vises. I'm still looking for a decent leg vise. Almost seventy, and just starting with smithing, cause it looks like fun.

Only bummer is, it’s missing pipe jaws. Very cool video, you guys sure know your vises. Listening to both of you talk about history on each brand was very interesting. Thanks

Today I learnt that Vice is another word that Americans spell differently to us Brits.
@sarchlalaith8836 Жыл бұрын
Or... More properly said, spelt incorrectly there, correctly by us.
@tomsamper4345 Жыл бұрын
We do use that spelling of vice…. But not to mean a tool. Vice refers to the opposite of a virtue whereas vise refers to a tool that clamps onto with significant locking pressure.
@127069Ай бұрын
Vice also means hold or grip . A person’s vice has a hold on them
