If you drill a small hole, 1/8'', at the end of the crack on the one side the crack will stop spreading open. Total Boat has a lot of finishes and some good ideas for the finish. Almost any boat product will last a long time. Good luck in whatever you do, and I do love your build. I'm 77 this year and plan on starting of build of my own.

That plastic board that you're using in your windows is called corrugated plastic. Here in the UK it is sold under the trade name of Correx. You can get it in sheets of 4ft x 8ft for about £16 (about $20). It comes in various colours and even translucent.

Great job so far, Scott. You've certainly managed to cram in a lot of functionality without making the trailer look overcrowded. I'm really enjoying your videos. Thanks for sharing.

Man that's going to be pretty dang nice when you get it all completed. And you want have that much money in it compared to going and buying one just like that. I've not looked at a new one that size but I'd say on the low side you're looking at about 15 grand or better. My hats off to ya. Semper Fi from an old Marine

What an awesome piece of Walnut for the table top. May I suggest to re-saw the Walnut (eg. If it is 2 inches thick, re-saw it into two 1 inch thick pieces). You could use one for the table top and the other for the kitchen sink. It would be such a shame to route out all that beautiful Walnut and have it go to waste. I look foward to the final results!

With the wood box, consider the side door open as you stated but also find a way to open and have the slide wood boxes too.
@DrenalinAdventures6 ай бұрын
Definitely will look at that

From the USA 🇺🇸. Always enjoy the trailer building videos. Put off my build . I am glad for the insights and detailed financial analysis . Very entertaining and saved me from spending more time and money than I'd like. As you dudes know how to live . .😊 WE really like our warmer weather in Southern California, and camping is much easier than in your world offers. Your out smarting your investmental challenges is new to me.

If you are looking for a bigger sheet of that plastic corrugated stuff find a local sign shop. They use that a lot for sign backing

Thanks for the ongoing updates! Definitely inspirational!!! Based on your 2-3 years of experience of regularly taking Eddie out on rough logging roads plus at least one transcontinental road trip, how is the build holding up? And are there any longterm maintenance issues that have emerged during that time? For a wood frame structure mounted on a trailer chassis, this build seems to have turned out much sturdier and durable than I would have expected.

It is likely too late at the time of the video release and what you are actually doing now. The table top, you may be able to find a way to have the slab sliced again, in half ... and have two related slabs .. for other projects. It looks quite heavy for the able mount.. I use the same system.

I’m going to try it and see where it goes.

Think i would use a strip of walnut on the ceiling as a cap to hide the wires but make it snap in place for easy access.just a thought

Your window shade material is not transparent as you stated...it's translucent ( cannot be seen through, but allows some light to pass through). 😉

Would furniture grade walnut veneered plywood work for the cabinet fronts? Or are you wanting something that's solid wood?
