Hey Steve!! I just came back and watched this 4 part series of how your snow plow came to be. I'm always amazed at how you can re purpose just about anything into something useful! It's pretty darn cool that an old 50 gallon water heater tank now lives on as a snow plow and a box scraper! Nice work!!

Thanks Ray. I had fun building this plow and trying to figure out how to make it all with stuff from my inventory. I sure has been a useful addition to that tractor. Thanks for watching My Friend, I appreciate it!

Your very welcome, I'm happy to spread the ideas. ... This plow has ended up pushing around more dirt/gravel than snow....but it does very well none the less. I have a couple videos of this plow pushing snow if you would like to see it in action.

Geroge Lee Hi George, thanks for taking the time to watch my videos. This tractor is a hydrostatic drive and has an onboard hydraulic cylinder that was intended to lift and lower the impliments. I made a lift/lower rod that attached to the hydraulic ram.

Just a random fact; many spiders can die from falls as low as four or five feet. Here in Australia where there are a bazillion spiders per human, we have some dishpan sized spiders that many people catch and throw outside that are literally crushed under their own inertia from even a minor impact!

Do you get snow where you are at ? If not it will be great to move dirt around. What kind of mig wire are you using?
