What kind of bricks are they, do they have any insulation property? If yes, they should be facing outward on the wall. Or is it built in mild climate? However, having a look on the guy working in warm clothing it is not the case.

a big big difference between beautiful and building basic requirements besides its consistency , most of the rocks are not interlocking probably ,hmmm in an area like china with a considerable amount of earthquakes i think walls wont stand still at 2-3 Richter's.

Dude what the hell are you taking about??? You gotta be one of those crappy stick built home dwelling arogant americans aren't you? Please cut it out! Although I lived in Geneva for the past 10 years originally I was born and raised in Grenoble France and as a residential building contractor myself with over 20 years of construction under my belt I'm very familiar with the region alpine architecture so that's why I'm calling your bs!!!!! I spent all my carrier juggling back and forth between Chambéry and Annecy where me and my crew built over 40 traditional stone houses just like the one you saw that courageous gentleman building in this video and let me tell you that over here we've been building houses using those exact same construction techniques for the past 900+ years besides anyone who knows anything about the weather situation in both Savoie and Haute Savoie knows that it's cold as hell!!! Yet some of those constructions are still standing even after being bombarded during WW2 and are still inhabited more than 400 years after being built All they did was to retrofit modern plumbing, electric cables, phone lines and new window frames into the pre existing stone structure sometimes the roof has to be rebuild sometimes them shingles has to be replaced other than a bunch of minor repairs & cosmetic makeovers every 60 years or so those stone houses are perfectly suitable for alpine climates sure it's easier and more efficient to heat up stick built homes yet you're missing the point here because the real reason why those houses are built that tough is for the durability aspect ratio to expand over many centuries with the intention of passing it down to the next generation down the line hence why it has to be able to withstand the test of time and in case of war it can serve as shelter for vulnerable members of the family So before sounding judgemental and borderline racist towards other cultures at least do your research first that will avoid you to get embarrassed every time you open your mouth you jealous hater you....
