What do you want to see me build either outside, or inside the house? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

will you have any decking outside? Extend the living space on nice days :)

No worries about this not being your usual bushcraft videos. I, personally, find it to be just as entertaining and it reminds me of your older videos with Mike from TA Outdoors! So, keep going. I'm looking forward to seeing your end result!

I would go for whitewash for improved interior light and for flame-retardant purposes. Pallet wood furniture might be appropriate for inside.
@doreebardes55373 ай бұрын
100% support the whitewash idea - it'll definitely make the interior brighter.
@thomphan95183 ай бұрын
brighter and should make everything last longer.

yes white wash it serves to lighten up the room but also sterilizes it as well

Cob which is sand and clay once applied how long does it last?. Also make the shelter something you can use all year round and get your monies worth lol.Great to watch and learn. Simon 🇬🇧

First off, you've got a great group of friends and local supporters, looks like a great group to party with and get some cobbing done on the walls! And yeah, definitely whitewash the interior. It'll be so much brighter and you'll be glad you did.

Wind turbine for power and a rain water collection for the sink, that would make it really eco friendly. But would push up your budget.

It might not be your 'normal content' but it's great. Can't wait to see if all set up and liveable. I'm not a fan of whitewash. It is very white and bright but every time you brush against it you will get a whitewashed shirt! Isn't there something that won't dust off?

Loving this collection of vids on the house, if your making cob and a love of rocket stoves, I’ve seen somewhere you can model out of cob a kinda sofa shape(or bed) that the hot air pass’s through. You in effect get a heated bed/sofa might be worth considering as would make a great feature and cool content. Keep up the good work

I agree with whitewashing the interior for lighting purposes.

Would love to see you and Ta outdoors get together again on a other woodland project. As too the whitewashing I jmthink that's gonna depend on how dark it is inside a littlw bit won't be to bad to ad a little bit of open feel to it, and it depends on how much of a natural feel u want
@Shaden00403 ай бұрын
Dustin you should offer up your amazing cooking skills and exchange a meal for some of the goods you're going to need believe me that is definitely worth worth it to cook us something for somebody for a meal in exchange for some goods your services your skills as a good chef there for exchange of materials and goods because I'm sure there are people out there that have materials that are in excess of what they needed for their build and can't really store extra stuff too well and I'm a parent used to do that used to store extra stuff in case they were needed it and they never needed it so it would have been better for them to get rid of it that way they don't have to worry about the storage cost they can excess rum and sell up the extra somehow either with cash or with the exchange of other goods or services which is what brought me to thinking about your cooking skills.

I would see how I liked it without whitewashing the inside. If it is too dark, then whitewash the interior. Outside, I would build an oven. I like the rocket stove, but an oven is what I would want.

Rather than white washing the inside to lighten it why don't you make a bleach bottle light which you can use during daytime's to help lighten it?

IMHO.... I Would Have Used Thicker Chicken Wire (Or Doubled It) Anchored With Heavy Plumber's Strapping Instead Of Those U Nails And Screws That Are Basically A Waste Of Your Time Because Of Little Additional Strength And Anchoring Capabilities.
