Pad the shin area if possible. It might be a tight fit. That is a good thing though because you don't want it wiggling around anyway. Edit: Be careful! You don't want to cut off circulation in your foot!

In addition to extending the ax head, i wonder if making more of a wedge shape from the edge of the ax to the toe of the boot would help blast the wood apart.
@DiesInEveryFilm Жыл бұрын
With the head extended it would widen somewhat but the issue was penetration due to lack of ankle mobility I couldn’t get a good hit on it

This build is a cool idea! Regarding the shin guard, can you dish out the top a bit away from your shin to reduce the rubbing/contact? or perhaps line it with a durable rubber hose (slit along the length and wrapped around the edge)? or is it so high that it makes contact with your knee cap?
@DiesInEveryFilm Жыл бұрын
Im guessing you didn’t watch properly to see it lined with foam. The video is finished I addressed the issues i had and rubbing was not one of those

Love the video just got through watching it, now that got me brain storming, what if you could do a boot with a hidden dagger in the sole of the toe that is retractable and to make it release with a certain amount of force from stomping to get it to release, that way in the walking stance it would stay hidden and to get it to release would be from the force of a stomp, don't know I like to brainstorm, anyway great video as always can't wait to watch the next and many blessings to you and yours

great idea and mk2 should be cool as, bet the original rattled on your shins pretty we,,, also think if you put the blade slightly higher on the boot that would help as have noticed the shoe scuffing the ground a bit on some kicks, also might be worth considering making the axe so as it will pivot so as changing the angle it hits depending on the target to make it more effective
