The DOMES are THE BEST. I always found it hard to make small enclosures so visitors can see but then have enough space so the critters are cozy. This helps bridge the gap and are fun to disguise. Glad to have em, love the Meerkats!

A fitting choice for the Kiwi giving them a night house. It also kind of reminds of when they were teasing the Twilight pack, how everybody I talked to, myself included expected it was going to be a Nocturnal Animal Pack. Along with the animals teased, people figured we'd also get the Kiwi, Tasmanian Devil, and the Fossa if I remember correctly. Awesome to have all three of them eventually come to the game anyway Sidenote: These viewing domes are dope af. Sorry butrows, you're no longer my favorite free item in the game

Yeah, its definitely super nice to have these guys now in the game as well 😃 Its sad there is no actual nocturnal behaviour in the game.. but it is what it is 😅 We still build nocturnal houses for them 😁 Viewing domes are also definitely part of my most favorite thing now 😃❤️

I'm from New Zealand and I am so happy to see our little kiwi in the game. I couldn't help but laugh when you said they are bigger than you thought. They're about the size of a large chicken depending on the type! I work with them on the rare occasion as a vet. I loved seeing your nocternal house and I hope everyone builds them a beautiful night house as a day kiwi is a sick kiwi! We get kiwi sometimes in my parents bush land and they have the cutest noises. I hope to see more beautiful creations from you and joined your discord just to be updated!!

The entrance for the domes are oversized, but I also get it - and I do like having them. It would feel odd for me to not have it, and just have guests randomly appear in a hole underground... x') That said, I hope you guys start using them creatively! Think outside of the box -> Obviously the entrance will be connected to a habitat - but that doesn't mean it needs to LOOK like that. You could always make it look like something else entirely. How about make it look like a photo booth? Or the entrance to a mini-arcade, or make a sign that says "ball-pit"... Whatever fun thing you'd love to include in your zoo, but isn't actually there.... but this way, you'll actually have people que up an go inside!

Oh, random idea... it might not fit, but I kind of want to see a hammock inside the nocturnal house, put up between to tree trunks, under the starlit "sky"... As if you were chilling in nature at night, watching nocturnal animals sprawl around x')

Hooii Delady, Ik zag dat je de ingang van de dome erg groot vond en dat je dat stoort. Ik had daardoor wat inspiratie. Wat nou als je een gebouw maakt van de ingang (wat los staat van de habitat) en het gebouw een thema geeft, door alsof te doen. Bijvoorbeeld dat het lijkt alsof mensen een hotel in lopen of een speelgoed winkel of een binnenspeeltuin ect. Ik ben benieuwd of je er wat aan hebt! :D

I make the viewing dome like a vip experience by having it close the back of the habitat and with guests ribbon barriers to act like a queue

I think maybe something like a little bit of water could work as the focal point of your plaza. so maybe a little well, topped with the Kiwi statue or something like that. maybe even some rocks? your buildings are always just so on point, it's crazy.

I ve seen a real Brown Kiwi. Funny small/ medium sized birds. Fast. But also shy. Its around 18 or 20 hours flying from Amsterdam to Oakland city. Not sure if Churchtown is much longer. It took me over 26 hours to get there

I noticed with my giant pandas that the domes affected the stress so much wish we could use one way glass with it (have 1 way glass around the hole habitat so had to be domes)

@@DeLadysigner Oh my goodness six hours 🤪 I think the longest I’ve taken on a habitat was an indoor Red Panda habitat that lead to the outside. Which I got inspiration from your Badger habitat in the Winter zoo 😉❤️I was pretty proud of it lol 😂 It’s not as good as yours but it’s pretty good for someone who doesn’t build much. Taking care of the animals is my favorite part of Planet Zoo. Hehe 😜

This is why Nocturnal houses in NZ tend to use dim-red lighting, as it is the only colour that doesnt disturb the kiwi!
