Craig (‪@EastAnglianBushcraft‬) and myself got busy in the woods making a moss covered lean-to shelter as a bit of skills practice, we utilised deadfall, dead standing and hung up limbs to construct this and thatched it with materials gathered sparsley from different areas of the surrounding woodland.
We also cooked up some incredible food including berner sausages, phikly cheese steak and a good English breakfast.

Awesome video Liam. It’s nice to see you actually doing some Bushcraft and not sitting around the camp. Drinking beers all night long like you know who anyways thank you for an awesome video. You’re a true Bushcraft gentleman. Keep up the good work. Thank you for all your hard work you’re an awesome bloke.

Come on Liam, that lean-to roof was the wrong side of the crossbeam, the roof should be pushing the crossbeam into the trees not away from them as you've done, and Y sticks to hold the crossbeam in place ! No string needed if made correctly 👌🏻👍🏻
@PrimalNomad
@PrimalNomad 9 ай бұрын
Granted the direction of the lean-to would benefit from changing but this is also ridiculously strong for what it's purpose is. It's only going to remain standing for a short period & then will be dismantled and returned to the forest. I'm also a no string kinda, lukilty the jute twine is minimal impact 👌

It's all about the gear and the names with some people, they think Bushcrafting is a fashion show and cheap gear that does the same job doesn't look cool to mates 😂
@PrimalNomad
@PrimalNomad 9 ай бұрын
@@neanderthaloutdoors9202 are you seriously that annoyed about other people's gear? How about get off youtube complaining about people owning things that they want to own. It's an axe, one that's worth the money to me. If its not to you then don't buy one 👍 next time I'll use my £10 axe in your honour
