It looks really well now. Worth all the hard work. A suggestion. On the underside of the chopping board / draining board you should possibly consider putting some aluminium or thin stainless sheet to protect it from when the stove pot support frame is still hot. Over time the heat may cause damage . It is quite a common thing on boats, the more modern having a glass cover.
