A few years ago I was lost in the endless google looking at all sorts of random cars, builds and new ideas. I came across this picture of an old slammed willys Jeep. For some reason when I see jeeps with their tops off it reminds me of a man go kart haha and so combine that with this awesome, low to the ground, v8 hot rod looking jeep, I feel in love.
The thought of slamming a Jeep, v8 swapping it, and doing all the weird suspension and steering modification needed seemed out of my league. And at the time Cleetus had just started to get popular with leroy (thankfully) and the naked C5 Corvette popped into my head and so began the crazy idea.
Far sooner than expected I found a C5 Corvette that was in my price range. It had a Silverado 5.3 lq engine because the previous owner blew the 5.7 LS1. Knowing I wanted to eventually boost it, but currently just wanting to cruise it, this seemed like a perfect buy.
After parting our all the parts I didn’t need from the corvette I ended up being only $2300 into the corvette and was able to get all the Jeep parts I needed for less than $900. And so the madness began.

So we splatter smoking hot oil all over the garage and then potentially run the tires down to where they could throw sparks. I like it.

I really hope you read this... I been watching KZbin for a long time now but never realize if I scrolled all the way down that's how I leave a comment so you are the first channel I watch to leave a message on... You are to hard on your self.. Talk about bad welds.. People should know or learn really quick when fabricating people just bubble gum a weld until they are sure about it and you always go back finish it grind it down and it turns out great.. I love this channel.. Your not fixing up car by ordering high dollar parts or body kits its all fabercation.. You say you know nothing about wiring but you do awsom.. You may get something crooked but you see it over time and go back and fix it.. You are learning the best way there is.. Trial and error.. One day soon you will be seen as a master fabricator.. And the best kink, self taught.. Keep it up young man you future is going to be a great one... If I have one comment to say about the jeep there is only one.. The spot that the exhaust T.s together put a small bend there so it flows out better other than a dead T connect.. It will improve flow witch will help power... Love all you builds. KEEP IT UP!!!!
